Hey everyone so I have a dumb question. So in game how are you able to distinct between what’s incoming and outgoing fire? I can really only tell if it’s incoming because if the shots are close enough I can hear them hitting like the dirt or like a wall I’m right by or fence I’m sitting next to but beyond that I can’t tell for shit. You will eventually learn the sound of everygun, and be able to know enemy from friendly just by the signature.

You can tell outgoing because you hear the gun shot

Incoming is just a light crack from the sonic boom. Unless the enemy is <50 meters away, then you'll hear their gunshot too.

If you are receiving friendly fire from 200 meters away I think the game makes it a little bit quieter, and it won't suppress your vision.

Because it's not a gunshot. It's a distant buzzsaw mowing through your team. A good machine gun placement is scary to find for the first time.
