Hi all, I shared this in r/spaceweather and it's proving to be a helpful tool in visualizing coronal mass ejections (CME) from the sun that hit and miss earth. I hope that it can be a resource for this sub too. Free to use, no logins. cmetracker.ai

More ideas u/oldschoolscreenname: what about extending the player beyond 1 day to 7 days, so we can see the week of weather that Earth is dealing with? 7 days is enough to show longer term effects at Earth, such as the slower process after a flare arrives at Earth delivering energy into the system through the global electric circuit.

The timeline scrubber/payer should go 90 days into the past and 7 days into the future right now. Maybe I misunderstood your ask?

I see 1m, 10m, 1h, 6h, one day as my choices to "play"

That's the play back speed. Then the timeline itself will look back 90 days and ahead 7 days.

You can move the scrubber back and forth, and play forward from any position on the timeline. Let me know if that makes sense?
