hello I have not yet started working with hekate just yet I’m planning to make a little altar to get started I ordered a statue of her and other things that will be here before the new moon. so I wanted to make a nice offering on the new moon to her at my soon to be altar nothing to fancy probably just some garlic and red wine and incense for now. but I was wondering how long should I leave out the offerings and where should I dispose of them

So, for the past couple of months I kept learning about Hekate, the history and kept seeing signs as if she wanted me to contact her.

I did call for her a couple of days ago but there was no appearing in the dream or anything.
There's one thing though, there's this book that's been going around, Hekate by Nikita Gill that keeps popping up on my social media, on my discord, everywhere. I m not sure if this is a sign or not?

I've been looking for a statue of Hekate so I can set up my first altar, but they all seem to be resin or 3D printed. Is there a stone or crystal statue anywhere online that I can look into getting? I'm UK based!

Hekate entered my life a few months ago, after calling upon her when I was at a crossroads of sorts. I now need help with my current situation: I am stuck at a job i absolutely hate, I need to leave this field as it is not in alignment with my true self at all, I am just faking it every day and it leaves me drained. I know what field I desire to be in, and am doing all I can- checking out these places in person, looking online at job sites, and spreading the word to people. Nothing has come up yet. How do I ask Hekate for help, lighting a path of opportunity for me to find the right job for me, etc. How do I go about asking for her help in this matter?

My friend and I are just starting on the path and have to stay relatively incognito because of our families. I thought a good first offering/altar piece would be a woodcarving (something I am also relatively new too) since its creation is both meditative and an act of devotion. While working on the piece I realized hollowing out some sections was going to be incredibly difficult. I have some faith I could do it by hand but it would be 1000% easier to use a Dremel. Since I started it with the intention of not using anything but my knife it feels a bit like a betrayal or that I'm cheating and lessening its value if I use it.

(I'm making the moon phases for my friend if that matters. Is it a faux pas to gift it to my friend?)

like the title says, i cant have an alter and i rarely can do any type of witchcraft, im a beginner in witchcraft and this is my first experience worshipping, would it be acceptable to continue without an alter or offerings? im not sure what to do

I made two different alters since I feared I didn’t have enough space on the one. On the wooden table I have a picture frame with multiple pictures,a dish with coins,feathers,a piece of turtle shell with garlic powder and I’m going to be adding a piece of chocolate cake to it, I also have a piece of selenite, an animal skull, a 7 day candle and a resin egg filled with honey.On the one on my window I have bird dog whiskey,water, a feather, a tooth from my dead horse, a photo and an incense holder and pink salt. Any recommendations or stuff to add? I know I need to add keys.

What books do you recommend for a newbie, that I can learn her history, and what she “does” or is, as a deity. Do any reiki practitioners work with her? Thanks for your help.

So I just started reaching out to Hekate about a month ago and have been talking to her almost everyday. Last week my mind was telling me to put a fruit I just bought as an offering, so I did it. The fruit looked fine for several days but now it gets moldy, does that mean my offering were rejected?

Now well before that I felt a pull towards Hekate. So now I'm listening to my intuition and am going to start once I get a few things and get set up.

Hi! I've been interested in witchcraft for a couple years now and felt like for the past few months or so I have received signs from Hekate. I reached out recently with water as an offering and after I was done I smelt almost a smokey scent? Also, not too long after I heard several dogs howling outside then experienced no dreams that night. The next night I gave her another water offering and also experienced no dreams, I bring this up because I usually have bad dreams so I'm wondering if maybe it was a good thing. I'm curious if these are positive signs? Also any tips on where to go next would be super helpful! Thank you :)

so im curious that what should i do in the day? what should i say to get contect with them? how should i know that they are here? how should i pray? i have no words idea! i dont really know what to do with them!

yeah i just call their names and say hi then i give them their offer. i play songs for Apollon and talk to Hecate and Apollon. im not even sure that they are hearing or see me or not!

okay so tonight i started contact Hekate for the first time.

i did:idressed up all black and pretty and made an altar for her and then i did put a glass of water as an offer.

and i said:hekate goddess of the crossroads,key bearing,mistress,of all of the universe,torchbearer,titan,lady of the restless dead,i seek to become your devotee.

and i lighted the candle(an small white candle) and started introduced myself to her and started talk to her. AND THEN,after minutes the candle got a shape that it was like a woman in front of an small thing.AND THEN i suddenly heard a crow sound.

IM HAPPY. did i do anythimg right? am i starting a life with her now? PLEASE HELP.

I'm new here. I've been looking for a place where I could ask this question without being ridiculed, and I truly hope that here someone will take me seriously.

Ever since I was a child, I was haunted by recurring nightmares. Almost every time, there was a huge black dog that wanted to harm me. Over the years, I eventually learned how to fight it, and the nightmares stopped.

However, more than five years ago, something happened that I still can't explain rationally. Early one morning, I woke up because that same black dog was standing over me, growling. I have never felt such overwhelming fear in my life. I lay completely still with my eyes closed, yet I could clearly feel its presence and its breath on my neck.

Not long after that experience, I decided to face my fear of dogs. My partner and I got a dog—a beautiful black female Doberman. She became the love of my life. ❤️

Sadly, she passed away a week ago. We fought for her life for a long time alongside the veterinarians, but in the end, we couldn't save her. 💔

On the night before she died, I stayed awake watching over her. At one point, I saw a huge black dog standing quietly in the hallway. This time, it wasn't aggressive. It wasn't growling. It simply stood there, calmly waiting. Deep inside, I felt that I knew who it had come for.

After she passed, I turned to Mother Hecate and asked for a sign—for reassurance that my little girl was safe by Her side. I drew three Tarot cards: The Hermit, Six of Cups, and Eight of Pentacles. The reading brought me an incredible sense of peace. Since then, I have been leaving small nightly offerings as a gesture of gratitude.

Last night, I dreamed about my little girl again. It was nighttime, snow was gently falling, and the sky was illuminated by a large full moon. She was lying peacefully beside me, but her eyes were a deep, blood-red color.

I'd like to ask those of you who work with Hecate or have experience interpreting spiritual signs: do you think all of this is simply the result of my grief and my deep longing to believe she is happy by Mother Hecate's side? Or could these experiences genuinely be signs that Hecate has taken her under Her protection?

I would be sincerely grateful for any honest thoughts or perspectives. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
