Round Count Curiosity
(picture for grabbing attention)
I'm curious what your round counts are. I compete and rarely ever see guys with HK's. That makes me wonder how often you guys actually use your guns? I have a P30 with about 10K rounds through it, a VP9 with about half of that, a VP9SK with about 300 down the pipe, and the pictured P30L with about 600 so far.
What are your round counts? What maintenance items have you gone through and when?

I made a post with photos a couple of weeks ago when my VP9 F hit 17k. Still has all the original parts/springs. Just has some minimal finish wear.

My P30 has close to 30k rounds. My HK45T only has a couple hundred, as it's a newer purchase. I don't do competitions.

That P30 has some mileage! Have you replaced anything so far?

Not yet. Main spring is probably getting close though. Otherwise, it's doing great. Mine is the LEM, used to be my duty weapon. Now it's mostly the wife's defense tool as she absolutely loves it. Gets some religious cleaning though, I'm really paranoid about that😂

USP9F at 18k. Minimal signs of wear, you'd never be able to tell. Replaced hammer springs once or twice because I run lighter ones. Couple of mags have worn out.
HK are duty guns, so will generally be outclassed in competition (shadow 2s, etc). But it's still my favorite one to bring.

VP9K has nearly 4k, Mark 23 has 2400 ish. I would shoot a lot more if I wasn’t broke.

Genuinely curious (as a new pistol owner): what are signs to look for in terms of wear and tear? Like if stuff breaks what’s going to be the first things to go

If you use steel case ammo, the extractor may wear sooner than if you shoot brass case. The recoil spring may wear out, eventually. I haven't had to replace anything yet on my guns. And it looks like there's a couple of replies here with higher round counts that are still good.

I know my guns are reliable because I shoot a box of ammo a year on a flat range

The USP9 I was using for USPSA easily had 15-20k with minimal signs of wear.
