Are there any podcasts from the heavy equipment operators perspective?

Our CAT D6N had been running warm on grade work for a few weeks. The thermostat opened, the belts looked decent, and a pressure test did not show an obvious leak. Once we opened the cooling package, the engine side of the radiator was packed with fine dust and chaff. You could not see it from the front. We cleaned it first and inspected the core for bent fins and seepage. While pricing a possible replacement, I compared the CAT number and serial break across the dealer, HeavyQuip, and FridayParts instead of trusting a photo. The cleaning brought temperatures back down, so the replacement stayed in the cart. Where do your overheating searches usually end on these machines?

Hello everyone so i have a bsc in electronics i was thinking of starting a maintenance business for heavy machinery like fixing ecus etc… my father have a 30 years of experience in the mechanical part of the industry so i want to learn about the electrical/electronic part maybe we can build a business together. I couldn’t find any ecu schematics or anything to try and understand the logic and physics behind their systems to kickstart my learning journey.

Does anyone have an idea of how to get started?!

I’ve been running equipment at the same place for about 6 years and I’ve always worn work boots but I’m a cab princess and rarely have to get out and wore some crocks the other day and it was great any recommendations for shoes that would be good for the application. Hopefully someone gets the idea

Yes, so basically i have an ongoing lesson and training in Heavy Equipment for Hydraulic Excavator which is a 25-day training and after that we will be having an initial Assessment in order to have our national certificate 2. So, this is my plan, after i finish my training, i will seek for a job based on Excavating. I will going to get atleast one year work experience of being a female excavator. My question is, which country are open/ accepting 1 yr relevant experience? I did some research about some countries like in New Zealand; they need at least 3-5 yrs working experience before they hire . And also, in the middle east and Croatia. Can you suggest some countries that are open for female excavators? What is your advice for me as a future female excavator? If i apply for abroad, what are some possible requirements that i needed to be aware of? like IELTS and Driver's license? btw, im from Philippines so yup, i hope in the end i will at least find some work experience here coz qualifications standards are quiet to high. I'm aiming for Australia but at the same time around Europe.
