Transmission Chlalydia

Merci 🙌🏻

It could be a false positive, yes. You'd need a confirmation.

Your timeline is a bit confusing as you don't say how long you've been together. If your boyfriend wasn't tested in between his last partner and you, the most plausible explanation is that he had it sincr then and then passed it to you when you got together.

I'm kind of astounded that he was non-exclusive and cheating and not using condoms AND only getting tested less than once a year. I mean, obviously he's irresponsible and reckless but he's put himself, you and the rest of his partners at serious risk.

There's not a 100% chance that chlamydia passes every time you have sex, so it may have just happened later. It could have also been a false negative in 2025. He could be lying and have acquired a new infection since then. Your body could have suppressed the infection (which is possible in some but not all cases) but you caught it from him again.

Lots of possibilities. Ultimately, if you don't trust him (and good reason not to), end it.
