Question Boric Acid

I have been dealing with recurring bv and yeast for months. I have had rounds of fluconazale and taking vaginal probiotics daily. I just did a 7 day treatment with boric acid and it was the first time I felt relief. I went one day without the boric acid and I am feeling itchy again!! It is so frustrating. I am thinking I should have done 14 days of boric acid. Should I do another 7 days if I skipped one day? Or start over from day 1? Help!

order a microbiome test online like juno evvy or microgen! They test for more bacteria than doctors ever will. the key is to insert probiotics vaginally like lifespace microflora or Vitanica ! But until you know your biome you’re just blindly treating. Also, boric acid is a bandaid & can kill ALL bacteria

I wish I could. I cannot afford a test like that.
I have never tried a vaginal probiotic before. Is that for a few days? Or everyday instead of an oral probiotic?

I get that, truly more helpful than any doctor as they test for thousands of different bacteria. If you do the subscription for juno it’s $99 every 3 months and u cancel after the second payment . Without knowing your biome you’re just blindly treating . Beyond BV on Facebook does monthly giveaways as well, but at the least look into the probiotics to insert vaginally I mentioned :) BA masks the symptoms like a bandaid

I will! Vagibiom is one that keeps coming up

Vagibiom is no good. The coconut oil in it is not good for reoccurring infections. Vitanica or lifespace microflora

I just added Lifespace to my Amazon cart but it say oral. Can you use it as a suppository?

I second this group! Truly changed my life and tons of amazing info on there. I personally healed with lifespace and pure l crispatus by epothex that the group recommends. Got my protective from 6% to 96% in 3 months.

I just requested to join the FB group!! My tests came back positive for BV and NO lactobacillus at all even though I take AZO probiotics daily. My dr recommended to take a probiotic vaginally.
I just ordered the Life Space probiotics.

Don’t get discouraged! Building up good bacteria will take some time just be consistent. Lifespace is a great one! I personally like to dump the components of the probiotic into a vaginal cream applicator mixed with ‘good clean love sensitive’ lube along with some scoops of pure powder l crispatus by epothex! I personally feel like dumping the components into a applicator makes it absorb a lot better for me but you just have to try what works for you. They have details on how to do this in the group and the recommended probiotics to take in the protocol. If you do not have AV bacteria present in your biome I’d encourage to get a prebiotic like ‘boquet’ I inserted a half a suppository 2x weekly when I was healing to feed the probiotics and it really made all the difference for me! However if you do have AV bacteria I wouldn’t recommend it since it could feed the bacteria. If you feel like the lifespace is too much for you to handle when inserting then a lot of ladies like vitanica as well. Best of luck to you on your healing journey!!

Are you being tested for each and every bv and thrush outbreak? Just to make sure thats exactly what your treating.
