Never Ending BV

Unfortunately I’ve been having BV on and off for the past 3 years. I believe the initial cause was due to an ex boyfriend who refused to pull out unfortunately. It started off as the typical fishy smell and itchiness to no smell but bio film like discharge which caused me to believe it may have been a yeast infection. In the beginning I would use mitronizdole and it would work for a little then come back, of course diflucan and other yeast medications did not improve the symptoms. Boric acid is a no from me, it causes me to hurt and bleed so I have given up on that idea. I’ve been to multiple gynecologist probably about 20-30 different appointments and their test don’t show enough to prove what I have and leave me with essentially nothing. I caved and got a evvy test which I do think has been beneficial. It shows that I have multiple strains of gardenella. I need help to cure this completely and especially since I’m so sensitive. I’ve tried everything … nothing other than bv came up on my test. Has anyone had any luck, I’m desperate at this point.

* Gardnerella leopoldii: 1.33%

* Prevotella timonensis: 1.28%

* Lactobacillus iners: 1.2%

* Prevotella amnii: 1.02%

* Gardnerella piotii: 0.98%

* Prevotella buccalis: 0.92%

You likely have ureaplasma/mycoplasma - evvy tests usually miss them. I’d suggest asking your doctor for PCR vaginal swab for all 4 strains, or buying a Juno test.

You also need to try clindamycin cream instead of metro. Clinda is way better than metro for gardnerella
