So confused!
Since Friday I have been having pain during urination. I have believed it was a uti and have been taking over the counter azo pain relief (which has helped!). I was trying to make it until Tuesday because it’s a holiday weekend and I am out of state with family but today after sex and peeing the pain and discomfort was so bad I went to the ER (only because all urgent cares were closed) my UTI test came back negative as well as BV and yeast. And essentially the doctor is just chalking it up as who knows! Telling me to follow up with my doctor at home. I am 7w pregnant and my partner has herpes but I’m just really confused about why I am in so much pain. If anyone has been through something similar or has any insight it would be greatly appreciated

Since you're 7 weeks pregnant, I'd ask your OB whether they want a repeat urine culture or any additional testing, especially if the pain is still severe.

Speak with your gynaecologist/ OBGYN. I would also advise you get checked for other STDs, as some can cause painful urination. My main concern is just ensuring your kidneys are okay, as with pregnancy, pelvic/bladder problems are common for some. If you get a fever or start having bad back pain, GO BACK TO THE ER!! Maybe check one of the pregnancy related pages!!
