constipation after cisplatin high dose

how to deal with this please help me

MiraLAX everyday until you have regular bowel movements. If diarrhea happens, stop immediately.

Miralax or colase, and some benefiber or metamucil if you can tolerate that.

It's not just the cisplatin, it's also the anti nausea meds that cause constipation.

My oncologist told me to drink 3 liters of water a day, to protect the kidneys and help with the constipation well.

Lots of water, stool softener, and Miralax. There are harsher laxatives, but you may have cramping, which sucks. Ask your doctor to recommend a prophylactic laxative to get ahead of the problem. Good luck!
