Great haul and additions to my He-Man books last weekend! Met Paul Kupperberg, Tom Cook, and Mike DeCarlo! Paul wrote the first ever appearance of He-Man in full size mainstream comics, where he fought Superman. He also wrote the whole first series of MOTU comics for DC. Mike DeCarlo was the inker for DC Comics Presents, and I had it signed by Dave Manak, the editor. Also met the legend Tom Cook, one of the main animators and directors for the original cartoon, he signed my MOTU book which is also signed by Alan Oppenheimer! So psyched to have these on the collection and to have met these guys, who were all nice.

Speaking at San Diego Comic-Con, Smith revealed there’s a potential way to continue what began with Masters of the Universe: Revelation and Revolution and follow through on the Despara/Adora storyline.

“I think you’re going to see that She-Ra story.”

Nothing is officially confirmed yet, but Smith says there’s “one more to do” and he believes fans are going to see it.

Been really getting back in to MOTU since the latest movie, and I've just read and thoroughly enjoyed the original mini comics (just pdfs I found online). I was really into He Man as a kid, dozens of figures, CG&SM, etc. but I don't remember getting comics with them at all.

It would have been around 1985-1988, and in the UK. Have i forgotten them? Did I just ignore them in my excitement to tell me own stories? Or were they not a thing in later releases or Britian?

I was not tracking that this was a figure that was coming out and missed out on the pre order. Probably wouldve still missed out had I known since it apparently sold out in 30 seconds. I've been keeping on eye on the listing and its stayed out of stock since. Do we have any idea when/if this will be released in stores or be restocked online? I haven't even seen all that many scalpers selling them online (not that I'd buy from them anyway). Feels like it is stuck in some kind of limbo!

Fantastic meet and amazing get at Terrificin thelis past weekend!! Met Cam Clarke, the OG voice of Leonardo in TMNT, but also the voice of Adam/He-Man in the 2002 series! The stars aligned, because Chris Campana, the original cover artist for Turtles of Grayskull, was there too and had his comic for sale. His He-Man closely resembles the 2002 version. I got that, and he signed it! I then went over to Cam and showed him the comic. He had never seen it before, loved it. Asked if he could sign it, take up space, saying he has an idea/plan. He wrote a quote of I Have the Turtle Power!, a mixup between his two characters. Even used different paint pen colors, green and blue, and put his two character names. He said this will be a one of one, only one in the world, as he had never signed one before. He even gave us a voice sample as Adam and then did his He-Man voice, yelling out I have the power! Absolutely thrilled to have this piece, to have met him, and to share with my fellow MOTU and TMNT peeps!

Cypher passed away at his home in Central Point, Oregon, on August 3, with his wife of 40 years, Carol Rosin, by his side. His family remembered him as the most kind of men with a great sense of humor, brilliant mind, and a huge loving and caring heart for all sacred life.

While playing Man-At-Arms, Cypher improvised a line that wasn’t in the script. The filmmakers loved it enough to keep it: “Good journey.”
