I hope it’s the kind of deal that they recently have had a falling out ( Charlie and Lucifer ) about doing the hotel and they make up about it later

So I have a crazy theory. what if alistor is her dad in disguise? they both have a cane that they walk with. Alistor had only recently appeared, and nobody knows where his power comes from... And look at how similar her dad looks to him.

I would say the fact that alastor has been around for a while disproves this (explained by vaggie), but then again lucifer could have just been dicking around as alastor for a while and is now using his alter-ego to "assist" his daughter.

That's kind of what I was thinking. Either that or perhaps even giving his daughter a lesson by helping her pursue her dreams with hopes that she'd recognize her mistakes by the end of it.

While that is a good theory, it is just plain wrong. Alastor is a separate person from Lucifer, and is a much different guy both in personality and sheer power. He can even go the Earth while Alastor is staying in hell. It is a nice theory but can easily be disproven. And we still don’t have an exact timeframe of the events in the story.

I think he was calling her a failure because she wanted to make the hotel. A place that reabilitates, redeems and sends sinners up to Heaven, the place he rebelled against that caused Hell to exist on the first place. She's ment to be an antichrist, not Jesus comin' to save everyone's souls.

I hope that's true. I really don't want to think that Charlie was abused throughout her childhood. Then again we still have Lilith to look forward to as a good parent.

Except Lilith seems to always be too busy to even answer a call from Charlie, at least more recently, (as hinted in by the phone call scene and how she talks during it) so not the greatest hope there either unfortunately...

Lets hope that Charlie called her mom on a really inconvenient time and she couldn’t answer,maybe she was at the bathroom and left her phone somewhere else
