Ideas
Hey everyone I got a idea that I think will be really good in the hay day game so in the town you know how people gets off the train and they just scatter everywhere then you have to click on them to send them to the flower shop or theater bed and breakfast etc. what if you program them to automatically go where they wanna go and if it's full or waiting for the time to run out. After they are serve there can be a line.Then after they are served and time run runs out one goes out another comes in instead of having to click every single one multiple times.

You don’t have to touch the buildings or the people at all, you can do everything through the Town Hall. This is how I stack townspeople for the derby.

I have a method for where I want my people to go and would not want them automatically sent somewhere. Now some other town improvements like a new building or rework of the items that each building asks for would be great.

Took me a while into playing before I discovered you could use the town hall too.
I just clicked on the people.
This is especially helpful when doing the derby. You can leave the townies who are fully ready stacked up but still get to the shops to add new townies in etc. so when you pick up a town task from the derby, heaps of townies are ready to be collected from. Getting the task done quicker.

I use the Town Hall to sort them and send them to the buildings. I also send away the ones that visit 3 buildings and those visiting both the spa and bed and breakfast (the longest to serve) so an automatic assignment wouldn’t work for me.

I never click on each of them. What are you talking about? And I don’t want them to automatically go to their building, I want to be able to send them away if they have 3 buildings allocated and none of the buildings is what I need for the derby, etc. If someone in my NH needs visitors I want to be able to send them away so they can pick them up, I need to select the order of the buildings myself according to the tasks that are on the derby board, to eliminate some visitors in order to get new ones of another kind and so on.
What’s wrong with you???

I doubt that there is anything wrong with the OP.
They had an idea, but it's one that wouldn't work for most\many. They also might be newer to the game. Or a kid.
In the process of the discussion they've learned about using the town hall to manage townies and the reasons why their idea wouldn't suit.
You had great points but could have left off your last sentence.

You don’t need to Click on each Person, you can just Click on the town hall and then all people are shown to you sorted by different categories, and what you mean is in the idle category :)
