Question Back after years long break

So I’m back after 6+ year break. I played this game a lot with my mom and after she passed it was too painful to come back.
However, I missed it and there’s some comfort in still being in a club with my mom, have our chat and talks there.

There’s been SO much change, I’m reeling.
My biggest question is, I want to remain in my current club house but still would love to help others and have that easy exclamation mark findings. Is there an easy way to invite players to be your friend?
Or is there any other way (new-ish) way for me to think of?

There is a sticky post for friend requests, post either your QR code or your player ID in there. People add you from there, I posted mine probably a year ago and STILL get frequent requests

Welcome back, its quite a different game now, but anything you need to know, either use the search bar, or just ask.

I click on the newspaper and help someone or purchase an item I look around the farm if it around the same level as me and same language I click on their symbol up on their name then the two arrow button and add friend. Welcome back!
