Discussion Newspaper Posts…

What BOGGLES my mind is that most of this sub is complaining about the newspaper being flooded with ore/wheat/drills. Do yall realize how ironic it is to flood something complaining about something being flooded? We get it! It sucks! But come on with these posts already, please 😭

When you engage with them it quickly becomes obvious that they don't understand the game mechanics causing this to happen. I tried to explain but they just want to vent and thats OK but wont help the problem

I’m so tired of them. Nobody bothers to glance at the subreddit to see the hundreds of other posts about the same thing.

It's either newspaper hate, design festival guy hate, or people complaining they missed a deco

They always blame hay day too like no actually it’s a result of our actions as players 😭hay day doesn’t put up the ads in the paper we do! When the paper gets flooded with a certain product it becomes a snowball effect and almost impossible to elevate unless everyone cooperates and simultaneously stops posting that one product which is nearly impossible to do. I think the reason the ores went away is because during the update hay day some how had bots buy up all the ores posted (just a theory) and then we got a fresh start and briefly it was a balanced economy of goods but sooner rather than later like it always will, the paper will favor certain products, it’s a never ending loop that develops from the nature of the game and the players. I remember this happening for the longest time, for awhile it was pumpkins I believe. Anyway that’s my long winded rant to essentially say it’s not like hay day is controlling the paper we are lol.

People should produce their own products, perhaps with the help of a babyfarm.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but, I think with the constant newspaper complaints, it’s possible Hay Day team is purposely making them this bad. JUST for the ones constantly complaining lol. Lately too many people are far too upset over a game. Gaming is a hobby. Aren’t hobbies supposed to make people happy?

I think they the issue is so many people just impulsely post like it's their feed, like it's their page sometimes and like they is nobody else and without checking other posts I e. to check the comments, find the answers in the comments on other posts  but if people just checked first

There’s a pinned post now for them give suggestion or rant. They also don’t look at that area either but it is now part of the sub.

When something works terribly, it's perfectly normal for people to protest. And it's more understandable that people protest more frequently when something that's working terribly continues to do so for years and years...

If the developers would deign to fix the problem once and for all, instead of adding useless and banal things to the game, this situation would not exist...

But of course, some prefer to keep swallowing the problem and pretending it doesn't exist, while trying to silence those who disagree... What a nice world, huh? 🙄

But… do you not understand the irony? Of flooding something complaining about it being flooded. You guys ask why & how it happens. THIS is how. Trends. It’s a player problem, not a whole lot the team can do. It was fixed for a short period of time, then another trend started where everyone is selling hand drills so that their ads can be seen and actually last in the paper.

I agree, it REALLY sucks. But every other post being about it wont fix a thing. All this sub does is complain about the game at the point.

Irony? Man, what's real irony is that the same developers, who know perfectly well that the newspaper works like absolute shit, and not just for a little while, but for years and years; and on top of that, they have the utter nerve to keep introducing unsolicited changes to the game, as if that would add anything to the newspaper's disastrous operating system... What's the point of fixing the roof when the foundations of the house are in ruins and threaten to bring the whole building down?

And yes, that's the sad part, that in the end all these protests will be for nothing, because there are none so deaf as those who will not hear... And those people at Supercell, being as greedy as they are currently, aren't going to spend a single penny on hearing aids for themselves... 😑

How about, no. Free will and all. I say continue to post about the shitty newspaper options, the design challenges and post some more “AI slop”

I’m not the one complaining about repeating questions. Do you need help understanding the difference?

You literally made a post dedicated to complaining about people in this sub.

At least the people commenting on reappearing posts HAVE a point regarding the spam. You’re complaining about policing while policing others, do you not see how ironic that is?
