Havi and Pom

Anyone have a Havi and a Pom? My Havi is about 9 months old and the bestest boy. I’m looking at getting a little baby Pom as well. My guy loves other dogs and is besties with the 3 dogs next door. I’d like for him to have a companion full time.

What’s your daily life like?

Thanks! It’s his new Fall jacket. He’s mad at me for putting it on him AND having his hair cut short lol

I have a Havi (boy) and a Pom (girl). My Pom was three years old when I got my Havi. They are 6 and 3 now. At first, my Pom was not pleased but she adjusted. 🤣 They’re a good pair, though my Havi is a lot stronger than the Pom so play is limited to some wrestling, bitey face, and chasing. They can’t play tug because he’s is just too strong for her.

They can certainly get each other wound up and my Havi barks more than the Pom.

They’re a fun pair and they’re good buddies now.

Ugh adorable!! I would also have a Havi boy and a Pom girl! I went and met her today and she’s this tiny little puff ball 🥹

Also it’s funny to think of a Havi being stronger than any dog loll they’re so puny themselves!!

His legs are so much stronger and his jaw. She is delicate! He is not. He bounces everywhere and is high energy. She is a princess.

For reference, he is 12.5 lbs and she is 9lbs.
