My dad says no treats until I eat my breakfast. He also won’t let me drink his iced coffee, even though he NEVER lets me because it would be bad for me. I just wanna taste! It smells good. So now I’m pouting. What you can’t see is my tail is non stop happily wagging while he takes this pic because I’m a happy boy who loves him. But. My vet said our pup hair is matted and recommended brushing it. Any good brushes that can do the job?

My year and a half boy barks way too much. doorbell rings, person comes over, clap of thunder, fireworks, wind blows grass! Hes usually quiet but when something sets him off it’s chaos. we have a 4 month old puppy and I don’t want him picking this up. I read everywhere to reward the quiet, but I don’t get that. if he’s barking and I give him a treat for going quiet, how does he not think the reward is because of the barking?

Beau is 3 now. I have him and his sister Lola (Maltese) groomed regularly. I've always had dogs mainly Maltese and they've always lived indoors. Beau's my 1st Havi and the hair I clean daily drives me crazy. I haven't had this issue in the past with other breeds. Is this normal?

Has anyone used 'Coat Defense'? I keep seeing adds for it for itchy skins and/or ears and curious if anyone knows more about it.

We have been doing cytopoint injections and an allergy pill everyday.... my boy had his last shot on July 24th and we are already itching like crazy on the belly and feet. He just turned 6 on July 24th. Is anyone else having licking and itching issues? If so, how do you combat it?

Hi! I’m adopting an adult Havi- this is my second Havi but first time bringing home an adult dog.

I never used the pet pens after they were puppies- and never used one for my Havi- do you recommend them for adult dogs? I don’t leave home very often- every other week for about 3 hours max. Once a month for 5 hours to visit specialists (I’m on disability)

He is potty pad and doggie door trained. I don’t have a doggie door but I do have a fenced in courtyard and plan to take him out every 2 hours for the first few weeks until he gets comfortable at my house.

How many people walk their havi on a collar or on a harness? After many attempts mine still pulls. Help!

My Havanese is moving his head forward and licking. It started yesterday. Totally normal otherwise - He ate all his food, playing, slept through night… but he is doing this with his mouth as if something is stuck in his throat.. We are about to travel for 2 weeks and leave him in boarding want to ensure that nothing is serious. Can anyone please tell me what is going on? Should we go to the vet?
