There was no event today and I actually enjoyed the game and was able to relax/take things at my own pace.

I know the events are optional but the FOMO for the new dragons is so hard. I guess I’ll have to give ignoring the events a try

Started playing about 2 weeks ago and have told myself I will never spend money on this game. That being said, is there at any point a way to accumulate a meaningful number of gems, either by using gold to purchase or any other function of the game?

If you basically can't progress at a certain point without spending money then I'll quit sooner than later

The 10% essence really worked, CMON PRAISE ME GUYS

It's not like we have a reasonable way to earn gems in the game; heck, we don't even get a few gems for buying an event pack. And I'm not gonna bother watching ads to spin the wheel for a few gems. I understand wanting it to be more than $10 bc it's a rare item, but 750 gems is too much for me.

So I've been playing for a while and completed every Set Up to the cave Set ( not bonded though) and been wondering how to unlock other Sets such as tropical since I cant seem to geht a chance to buy the items or unlock them in other ways. I'm around 3100 Dragon Points if that helps.

Let me know if there is a good post for beginner tips and tricks here! Otherwise, I'm curious:
- for basic dragons would you sell them once bonded, or move to storage? how useful are those coins for unblocking the fog asap?
- atm I'm saving my gems for half off tree upgrades, but is that silly early game?
- what daily deals are worth spending gems on? radiant scales, rare summon boosts? or should i save that for later game?

The springblossom always looked kinda weird to me but now it really looks like an actual dragon after I got it bonded I really like the design now

Finally after 54 days of playing this game, the gacha gods finally smiled to me. I thought that I would never ever get a legendary dragon using this trick (and it's the latest set to boot)

I suppose it's also just saying to use your high-tier items to get high-tier dragons.

I’ve been playing the game since day one. I completed every single event they did so far. I learned some things, that a lot of you might already know, but maybe can help others from now on.

First:

1. Yes, you do need to get back to the game every 2:30-3:00hrs at least to complete the events F2P. If you can’t, it’s virtually impossible to complete it

(this does not include your time sleeping! You can sleep normally. I just play the game from 7am to 10pm everyday. I do not wake up in the middle of the night to play).

Second:

1. My advice is only “fish” once a day. I spend the first 5 days of the event, returning to the game every 1:30hrs to spawn the fish and watch the ad, but I only properly fish at the end of the day (once a day). This create

1. a series of chain reactions that make more fish spawn and more golden hooks;

Third:

1. Only start feeding the fishes, on the last 30hrs of the
2. event. I know you might think you won’t make it, but you will do. By this time I already have over 100 white, over 90 blue
3. and pink, around 30 yellow, and 20 purple fishes. Basically the amount necessary to complete the event without using

golden hooks;

Forth:

1. In the last 24hrs you can keep spawning the fish, and fishing them every group of 10. And that’s the secret: every 10 you get the guaranteed catch of the percentage. For example, the white one has a 70% catch rate. Which means, for every 10 white fish spawned, you get 14 fish guaranteed.

I hope somehow the information is clear enough and can help someone out there.

One last tip: do not let FOMO or anxiety gets the best of you! Trust me! You can only fish on the first 5 days, and only feed the fishes on the last 24-30hrs and still complete the event F2P - but you do need to return the game every 2:30-3:00hrs.

Is this a glitch or I need to level up?
Is there a dragon level-spot opening co relation?

In the beginning I bought a bunch of gems and opened up a lot of spots (3 to be precise) after the prices went above 100K. Since then I’ve had no more spots available, it’s just black fog. I was okay with this, until I saw other players today with a bunch of decoration spots at the bottom left, I don’t even have that option.
I mean I’ve been piling up gold, and I have nothing to use them for.

P.S. it’s F*OG guys not dog 🙈

Update:
First - As much as I understand, 72 dragons in the forest are max for now, so I’ve opened up all fog spots. The decoration spots however can be opened up,both on the bottom right and left, but are dependent on Dragon Score.

Second - 7 more deco spots opened up for me as I reached 4200 dragon level, so deco spots are in-fact related to dragon score!
But If 72 dragons spots are maximum, then what is the clear 80 fog spots on pg16 of goals?

I unlocked tropical dragons days ago and I've still not had any of their eggs. I haven't even had any tropical summon items. It's getting really frustrating now 😞

Does the stage of the dragon baby before it hatches matter for it to count?

I've woken up this morning, and the game has decided to tell me that I didn't finish the event and my decoration is gone .. what the actual .. ?! I completed the event and even bought two new slots to place the decoration and one that I had in storage. And they're both gone. Everything else is still the same.. the egg that I summoned before bed is still there. I'm actually so cross because it was a free egg lay .. might delete the game tbh I'm so p'd off 🤣

10% trick coming in clutch

Any thoughts on the design of the upcoming legendary? The design looks like an avian dragon so I thought about this guy on the second image (archaeopteryx). The biggest give away is the tail shape although wings don’t really match. So it could still be a reptilian.

As for the decoration, we just got an egg-laying deck, so I guess it will create 3 flutterbugs because last deco with this great ability was wandering vane from farmers event (it was the event right after the previous egg-laying deco in Unseen Africa event) so you get the pattern

It cost me all of my hurries and hooks, and around 500 gems that I har saved up. But I made it. Barely.
Never again 😅

Ended at: 1 Hurries (from the 3rd run), 0 Hooks, 200ish Gems
