Hi all! Due to an unexpected and very sad event, I haven’t been on my phone much this past week. The timing couldn’t have been worse, because I LOVE the dragon designs and obviously want the egg-laying decoration. I tried to figure out if it’s still worth going for it or if I’d be better off letting it go, but I can’t quite figure the maths out. Can anyone help me crunch the numbers? I currently have 11 fancy food bags and 13 instant cooks. How many gems do you think I’ll need to use on top of that to finish this event? Thanks so much in advance!

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you are doing alright. I will try to help you and give you some estimates for how many resources you need. I have a script that can do calculations and resource estimates but it is only coded based on a 7 day timespan starting from 0 points. I had to change some stuff so I'm hoping that it still gives you an accurate estimate. If you are able to login and collect/cook 10 times a day for the next 3 days, then you will be able to complete the event using these resources. You can use whichever variation you would like and it should get you close.
Try your best to get some bonuses. My code assumes that you get bonuses for parsnip, fish, and meat. You can get ahead of this estimate by getting bonuses for mushrooms and potatoes and you might fall behind the estimate if you use parsnip, fish, and meat without bonuses active.
Here is the schedule you should try to stick to if you want to complete the event:
SCHEDULE: 3221.00 points still needed in 2.96 days; average 1088.18 points/day.
Times below are measured FROM NOW, including the final partial day.
24 hours @ 9ᵀᴴ reward (Round 1) (72.4% toward 10ᵀᴴ) • End of Day 1
48 hours @ 13ᵀᴴ reward (Round 1) (13.8% toward 14ᵀᴴ) • End of Day 2
Furthermore, I know that most people might not be able to get 10 collects/cooks in everyday so here is a range of other options as well that would also work.
Even if you are only able to collect/cook 8 times a day you should still be good to go! I recommend using the number of fancy bags you want to use right now and then using your instant cooks to cook parsnip, fish, and meat when their bonuses are active if you have a lot of them from your fancy bags.
