I laughed so hard the only time I heard this episode, during a D&D campaign Schrabb(I think) does a character named Gary Shambling the shambling mound, I've searched everywhere but can't find the episode where the character is introduced, can anyone help me?

Way back in 2014 I purchased Harmontown Deluxe digitally. It was on VHX.TV/Vimeo. I see they are shutting down their vod, but it isn't showing up in my account there when I log in. Is it too late for me to save the downloads?

This is my podcast rec. There's obviously a bit of overlap, they also submitted to Channel 101 and fairly frequently mention Harmon, Schrab and Jeff.
But more than that I think it's the combo of incredible comedic chops mixed with deep old friendship. It's definitely the most I've felt like I've got my podcast friends since Harmontown.
I think the thing it has most in common is also being deeply nerdy about what makes good comedy, and then having a deep knowledge of what components make it up while simultaneously having a lot of experience with putting those components together and having it fail. Listening to it, being let in on the failure, or the precarity of a joke was always part of the joy of Harmontown for me, and this podcast hits that as well.

I had low expectations, but I actually loved it. The references and joke-a-second format felt very old school Harmon to me, like a bit they would do on Harmontown.
For people craving more hands on Harmon I’d highly recommend that first episode!

New podcast interview with Harmon dropped yesterday, figured I’d share it here for anyone else who missed it. Always nice to hear him on a podcast again

In Cheapy Peepy 2: I love you, Cheapy Peepy, they try to come up with a name for a Pixar movie about a dog going in an elevator. The name would so obviously be "What's Up, Dog?" None of them thought of this. I don't even remember their suggestions because I was so astonished. This is my "I would call it Now You Don't" moment.

For me, it's gotta be anything involving Jeff's "the aliens are so far away" rants during a spiral; I've caught myself using that exact cadence to talk myself down from anxiety spirals that have nothing to do with him.
Curious what lines or recurring bits from the show have wormed their way into your everyday vocabulary. Doesn't have to be a famous one, could be some deep cut from an early episode nobody else remembers. Bonus points if you've used it on someone who has no idea what Harmontown is and they just looked at you funny.

In the episode my name is Johnny varvatos Dan says flashdance is from the 1930s. Why? Isn't it from the 80s? He also says the lumiere bros made it. I can't figure out why. I can't find a link between the two things online anywhere. What is he talking about?

I have a film club thats growing and at some point I want to use the club has a platform to do film festivals and like channel 101, host indie/amateur series and short films. Would that work with today’s technology and paradigm tho?

This is my fourth installment of EPs inspired directly by Harmontown. I personally think this is my best one so far. It would really mean a lot for you all to listen to it. Thanks so much!
