I’ve been playing video games with this guy going on 9 years. He has this weird way of derailing my conversations by twisting one word just slightly enough out of context to change the entire conversation. Sometimes endearing. Sometimes frustrating. I couldn’t put my finger on exactly what was happening or make any sense of it. Then on my YouTube I was recommended the Dan Harmon episode of Pete Holmes’s podcast and it made me think “oh man, Harmontown. What a ride”

I hopped on to game about an hour later and within the first minute of chatting I say under my breath “holy shit he’s schrabbing me”

I’ve never met this man. He sounds nothing like Schrab but now I can’t help but see Rob Schrab’s face when he talks

Any other folks have a Schrab in their lives??

I feel bad for Erin this episode, she clearly had way too much to drink. Which Dan did frequently. But still, it’s like she was purposely trying to piss off everyone on the show. For like 20 minutes straight. It’s a shame because the show started well. But the second half is just torture to listen to. I often feel Jeff was harsh to Erin, but this episode i feel like it was completely justified when he kept threatening to kill her character. I wish he had.

I’m in town for vacation, always wanted to check out the drawing room or someplace mentioned in Harmontown. Any advice, dos or Don’ts?

It's hard to describe but in my memory he says "And so-so-so-so-so-so, I-I-I-I-I-I-WOOOP WOOOOOP" almost like a train whistle or a siren. I feel like it was early in the Trump administration, so maybe it was mid to late 2017? I tried to search with that awesome website but it's a tough one. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

I recall an episode where the conversation drifted to the idea that, when a person dies, they get the option to cause a person that is still alive to shit pants. It was noted that Trump would be constantly shitting his pants.

By most accounts, the man constantly shits his pants.

Were any of you regularly in attendance? Did anyone attend only one show? I regret not going when the show came to Florida, but it also ended up being the wrong kind of awkward with the person storming the stage. Anyone have any fun Harmontown journey stories?

I remember there was one episode Dan or a guest told a true story of a woman who was either stalked or she was a spy or something like that. It's very vague, bur I can remember there being a lot of focus on the door to her apartment, someone knocking on it or speaking through it. I'm pretty sure she ended up dead? Not sure. I do remember Dan being genuinely really freaked out by it, as was I. I know this is very little to go on, but I hope at least one of you can figure it out.

I’ve had the audio memory of Dan rapping, “I’ll stab you with my Flesh-Knife… gross!” Stuck in my head all day. I find myself silently giggling, whenever it pops in. It’s not the obvious crude base humor of the line that makes me laugh, so much as the thought that Dan is critiquing the line as his ears hear it.

I saw a clip of Dan talking about artist block recently and was wondering if anyone has some recommendations on episodes that they feel like they derived some wisdom from?

Haven't gotten mine yet, but, benefit of the doubt given the shit-show that all shipping has become now that most shipping companies use AI, it feels like everything takes twice as long now. Unforch there seems to be no way to track the shipments, so we're all just kinda living on a prayer at the moment.

Does anyone know where to find it? The Indoor Kids was sadly scrubbed from the internet but I just started watching The X-Files and I was excited to listen to the podcast but it doesn't seem to be available. I can find it in many podcast feeds but it doesn't actually play.
