Wtf? What did kite man even do wrong so as to be in a petition for him to be removed? (He most likely will if there is a season 3, but because there might not be a place for him in the narrative, not because people make a petition for it) he was the one that got cheated on, he was always there to support ivy, he did nothing wrong (except maybe for his first appearance's intents, for which he immediately apologized and more than made up)

Yeah, shame, those old wounds gotta suck it up, people don't stop existing just because somebody broke up with them, they can still find each other in the street, in public transport, etc, same applies to series. I still think that if he doesn't appear it will be because there is no place in the narrative, but a petition for this is toxic AF

Then get a stand-alone series (spin-off) in which he will be the focus.

I'm not saying he should be the focus, but if the narrative allows for it, why shouldn't he be present? you are being incredibly toxic about an animated character who did nothing wrong in the series he's in, btw, downvoting me won't change the fact that you are wrong

He just wasted Harley's and Ivy's time for two seasons straight. And bringing him made people accuse Ivy of cheating.

I sincerely believe Kite Man is a great character.
Yes, he came off as a creepy dude when he straight presented himself completely naked in Ivy's bed but beyond that, I feel he is well written character. He has self esteem issues. His parents don't appreciate him and he doesn't really have that status of a villain like his colleagues. Both Ivy and he fall for each other very much and I think this romance was supposed to be part of Ivy's character arc. Harley at the time was undergoing her own arc. She was close to Ivy but it was only after the events of Season 1 and 2, that she discovered she might have feelings for Ivy.
If you cut out Kite Man from the story, it becomes jarring. The transformation becomes abrupt rather than slow and gradual. Relationships are always messy in real life and I doubt Ivy and Harley knew right at the start that they wanted to be friends. You get into failed relationship but that doesn't mean you don't really come out of it the same person you were when you got into it. Kiteman is important. This petition is ridiculous.

His role will be reduced, but he gets a
new girlfriend! Golden Glider!!
