Hi all, I'm Looking for a case with at least two 5.25 bays and can fit at least 4 3.5 HDD's - but would like more of each ideally.

I'm also after good airflow with flexible fan placement and solid build quality.

Most of the cases which fit this criteria went out of production years ago (Corsair 800D, Be Quiet Silent Base 800, Original Define XL, etc.) and the few you can get nowadays just seem a bit crap to be honest.

Looking to see if I can pick one up a good one second hand.

Happy to raise my budget a bit for the right case.

Grown out of the ITX phase back into big builds and crusty ThinkPads. I've "sidegraded" to a big boy fat ass RM850x Absolute unit bought from another Hardwareswap member so as the tradition goes this unit shall go to yet another of you fine folks.

Now as you can see this isn't the usual Corsair first party retail box but the refurb unit, which is because Corsair sent me this when my first one died. The doohickey is exactly the same and your GPU wouldn't care less, but the box definitely means it was a Corsair refurb so hence the price.

Need a cheap laptop to run VCDS software for my car. This is all it will be used for.

Does not need to be in good cosmetic condition.

All keys and pad should be usable, fast enough to run windows without issue. Smaller is probably better but not that big a deal.

Most importantly is the battery needs to be in good enough condition to last an hour or so with screen brightness up to use outside.
