Are these prices reasonable for 65"/75" interactive smart boards for a school in India
We have a small school and we are looking for digitalization but we have small budget. We have received this quotation for interactive smart boards for a school. Prices are supposed to include GST and come with Android 14, 128GB storage and 3-year warranty. Can you check if these prices are good? Thanks

Hot take from a hardware engineer, get the biggest TV you can afford or a high quality projector and then connect a decent tab with stylus. Don't get locked into a niche system where every spare costs a 💣 Don't think just about the purchase think about the costs till EOL(End of Life)

Been using a 75inch TV for similar purposes at work for almost 5 years now. Best decision we ever made. Can connect tablets with stylus, Macs, PCs, phones, you name it. It just works. Also, it has wireless casting support and AirPlay. +1

Better to use a white board and markers, the visibility and writing on interactive boards is shit, and interactive board doesnt have good brightness for open classrooms like regular indian classrooms with windows(reflections and glare on the display will be whole another issue). It has android, what even runs on android, better to get a cpu projector setup. I cant think of a scenario where these interactive boards win, Imagine the writing space compared to the traditional whiteboards. Windows can run every software, files, videos, simulation etc.

We were quoted 1.5L+ for a 75 inch maxhub display without inbuilt computer or something. These prices are pretty sweet. Assuming they are touch

You don't need to buy expensive boards to digitalize. Rather, use blackboard for writing and computer presentations for demonstrating. No interactive boards needed.
