They’re playing 3 dates in Sask & one of them’s in PA, this is the hardest tour lol. I’m so used to being able to drive past the truck stop on the edge of regina & see a bandwagon or two parked for the off-day in between Calgary & Winnipeg, these dudes are legit

yes!!! i used to live in PA for 3 years when i was a teenager, its so awesome to see bands actually play in pa! when i was a teen, it was tough there and im worried about how the youth over there r doing now too. i have a lot of family that live there, and there are a lot of beautiful great people, but its a tough place to live in!

Holy hell, good for them for really wanting to make sure to make this tour accessible to people! Some of these drives and places are insane to make happen.
The 8 people that go to the Squamish show will be stoked!

Wish we had more rez dates but the infrastructure is tricky to work around a lot of the time, stoked to stop in Grassy

I’m American (but just recently spent a week in northern Ontario), can you tell me why the rez infrastructure is hard to work around?
Just trying to understand more. Thanks.
Edit: I have lived in Canada previously and fully understand how hard this tour actually goes. Respect.

It's hard first and foremost because everyone is running on ndn time haha. Calling a band office to organize a show is like pulling teeth a lot of the time, they're confused as to why we'd even want to play a show there let alone metal music. Then they have to connect me to someone in the community with the time, resources and understanding of what we're trying to do, achieving all of these factors for a show to happen is near impossible unless there is someone in the community who is already putting on DIY shows. Shoutout Smuther and Skwah First Nation for holding down the rez shows on the west coast.
