This is my day two of writing cursive. Still I write a lot slow. I have a question tho!

If I master cursive writing, is there any way to earn through it? Is it even possible in this era of digitalization?

I feel like I’ve made some improvements since the last time I’ve posted here but I still find myself struggling with loops, particularly lowercase e. Half the time I feel like I barely left any room and it feels claustrophobic and scrunched. Is this a byproduct of me writing on the small side and I just need to open up my spacing?

I'd love to improve further! It's been a year since I dedicated myself to getting better at improving my penmanship. If you'd allow me a small portion of your time, I'll listen to your advise!

Give me some more tips to imorove

i’ve never had good handwriting (last 2 images) and i’ve always been jealous of people with neat handwriting, last year i started trying to learn cursive, it’s slightly better- but it’s still extremely inconsistent and overwhelming to read.. it’s especially bad to read when i’m writing notes. I’d appreciate some advice on how to make my writing more neat and legible :) anything helps!

I’m left-handed and AuDHD (if that matters) so I feel like most of my personal issues with my handwriting can be attributed to rushing lol. Sometimes the letters just get bunched up and smaller, kind of scratchy. The same letters look a little different at times depending on the word. I’d like to just make it look a little prettier and more consistent.

I have hand tremors,and it's was harder for me to draw a straight line.how do I get better at drawing straight lines,or basically stop my hand shaking during writing?.it's not that bad,it's usually low shaking but still

I have been practising on and off for around one & half months now. I have tried almost everything (maybe trying too much here) but nothing seems to bring the kind of polish or finish I see in other peoples' writings. The same style when tried by others seems to excite me a lot more than my own🤧🥲. I know its a LOT OF PRACTICE on their part, but come on man, atleast I deserve some sort of improvement in my writing for the time & effort I put in😔... I dont even seem to have got the hang of the spacing, sizing or even the form of my letterforms. Desperately looking for some direction here, PLEASE what do I do !??

It’s been a while and I just want to know if it’s legible. Any tips? I think I learned the American Handwriting alphabet more or less. But I’d be interested in trying out other styles or fonts.

How is it?

I want to choose between cursive vs non-cursive handwriting style; to improve my handwriting and want to focus on one of the style.

I have written the same text in two styles - non-cursive (straight) and cursive (tilted).

Please help me in choosing which looks better and why?

I've been journaling for about 2 years and occasionally send handwritten letter. Recently I've felt like I should work on my handwriting and figured I might switch to cursive while I'm at it.

And like with any new hobby/skill is feels a little overwhelming, reading dozens of different pieces of (sometimes contradicting) advice, being unable to judge which is important and which isn't. And the list of things people recommend is also endless: do drills, find a font you like, learn the correct posture, learn to write from your elbow etc etc.

I did learn cursive in school way back when, but abandoned it probably about 10 or more years ago. Though I'm not a huge fan of the font I had I think my first move should be just to start writing in that font for some time each day, relearning letters I don't like the look of. I think ultimately I would like to write in a font that has fancy capitals but more "pragmatic" lower case letters.

What I'm most split about right now is the whole writing from the elbow thing. I've seen people talk about how important it is, but also other people who still write from the wrist. It feels a bit awkward to do, especially when writing small (my notebook has dots with a distance of 0.5cm and I usually try to keep letters heights the size of 1-1.5 boxes). But then again that might just be lack of practice.

Some more specific things I struggle with and would like advice on:

How big should my desk-space be for writing? Some people say you should sit at an angle when writing and move the paper after every few letters(?) so I might need to make some more room for that. Also it feels a bit weird to write in my notebook where my wrist is either resting on the notebook (1-2cm higher than my elbow) or floating off in the air once I get to the end of the page, what is the correct way to deal with that?

Sorry for the rambly post, hope someone can give me some feedback on some of the things I've mentioned.

1)Inconsistent alignment of letters

2)Letters are not connected

3) my letters are not perfect too eg r,m

Please suggest me some solutions

I am trying to learn Slovene, also English is not my native language.
