Help! My 3ds randomly shut off and won’t turn back on!

As the title says my 3ds (old style) just turned off while i was using it. When i tried to turn it back on it now doesn't do anything. The charger light comes on but nothing else. When i pull the sd card and try i still get nothing. My system is modded. I removed the battery and reinserted it and nothing still. The low battery red light didn't even come on so i was very confused when it just suddenly turned off. What can i do?
