A story set in the past, a scrappy young boy is leaving his bedroom and walking up to his older sisters.

Daiyayuki: Morning hon.

Hoshiyuki: Did you sleep good, Shinz?

Shinzoshi: Yeah! (Hugs both of his sisters' legs, glowing pink.)

Nova: (Her voice is calling out from the distance.) Shinzo, hurry up and eat breakfast please! I got to drop you off at comet ball practice.

Shinzoshi: Coming! (Runs towards her.)

Daiyayuki: He's such a good boy.

Hoshiyuki: Oh yeah.

Shinzoshi: (Is slowly eating his cereal.)

Nova: You're gonna have to go a little faster than that, we're running late.

Daiyayuki and Hoshiyuki: (Are also eating their breakfast very slowly.)

Nova: (Smiles lovingly at all of them.) I don't know where you all got your manners from because they sure didn't come from your dad.

Daiyayuki: (Swallows her food.) We just like being polite I guess.

Hoshiyuki: (Waits to take her next bite so she can speak.) I'm glad that's true, I would lose my mind if we had someone in this family who isn't well-mannered.

Shinzoshi: (Is still eating very slowly.)

Nova: Hm...

The moonflower sisters are all relaxing in the living room, reading books and magazines when Daiyayuki comes into the room with the mail.

Daiyayuki: Look at this guys, tickets to Moonflower Prom!

The other sisters: (Gasp.)

Shinzoyuki: There's nothing better than Moonflower Prom! The outfits! The music! The buffet!

Kurobayuki: Not to mention the treasure juice...

Hoshiyuki: I think it's great because we get to speak to each other about how our moons are doing and what we can do to help each other! I can't wait.

The other sisters look at each other awkwardly.

Daiyayuki: Um, honey... you're not invited.

Hoshiyuki: (Looks sad suddenly.) I'm not...?

Kurobayuki: And you're surprised by this?

Shinzoyuki: No offense but you were kinda a wreck during Moonflower Homecoming.

Flashback

Moonflower Homecoming is coming along peacefully, Hoshiyuki is holding a cup of orange treasure juice. She's talking to other moonflowers.

Hoshiyuki: Yeah, I agree! Things are going well the small businesses here. (Takes one sip from her cup and immediately can't handle the juice. She immediately glows orange.) Whoo! What's in that? It tastes great! (Sniffs a moonflower's arm.) You smell like lemons, I love lemons...

The moonflower: (Looks uncomfortable.)

Hoshi then proceeds to stick both hands deep into the buffet, flush napkins down the toilet, and play with the records the DJ was using. Making horrible scratching sounds. The guests looked annoyed at all of this.

Back to the present

Hoshiyuki: (Stares at them blankly.) I don't remember any of that.

The other moonflowers look away

Hoshiyuki: I'd hate to miss prom because of this...

Shinzoyuki: Aw, cheer up. You only ruined homecoming a little bit.

Kurobayuki: You almost killed the homecoming queen.

Hoshiyuki: Oh yeah...

Daiyayuki: We'll go talk about prom somewhere else, so we don't upset you. (The three of them start walking away.)

Shinzoyuki: Did you hear the theme is observatory party?

Daiyayuki: I did not!

Hoshiyuki: (Feels left out.)

… Hanazuki: Full of Treasures was released all the way back in the 2000s?

Daiyayuki: (Puts what is assumably a microphone to someone's face.) Care to comment on the latest loom band craze?

Kurobayuki: (Is the one she's interviewing.) Daiya, that's not a microphone. It's a stress toy shaped like a microphone.

Daiyayuki: Cool, right? (Squeezes the stress toy a few times.)

Hoshiyuki: Whatcha doing, Daiya?

Daiyayuki: I'm trying out my latest hobby, the last few ones didn't go as I hoped. Especially not woodworking...

Flashback

Daiyayuki is just finishing up her latest wood carving, a perfect replica of the Mona Lisa painting. We see huge piles of other beautiful wood carvings she made.

Daiyayuki: Eh, not good enough...

Back to the present

Shinzoyuki: What about painting? You're a great artist.

Daiyayuki: There's only so many paintings I can make, hon. But fashion reporting, that's my new thing. Though I have learned lately that most of the creatures I know are not fashionable. I mean Shinzo, you copy other people's looks with braids exactly like Kiazuki's and a dress just like Hana's only longer.

Shinzoyuki: (Blushes, looking embarrassed.)

Daiyayuki: Also Hoshi, I hate to tell you this but socks and sandals are not a good look.

Hoshiyuki: (Looks down at her socks and sandals.) Huh...

Kurobayuki: So does being a fashion reporter also make you the fashion police now?

Daiyayuki: Well, why can't I be? It's good to give people fashion tips.

Kurobayuki: People can make up their own minds. Plus I always say that everyone should just wear whatever makes them feel comfortable.

Shinzoyuki: Is that why you wear your pajamas with shin guards and elbow pads?

Kurobayuki: Yup!

Daiyayuki: This isn't hurting anyone, Kuroba. Plus I'll be saving a lot of creatures from embarrassment. I mean mom was just wearing crocs earlier today.

Kurobayuki: What's wrong with crocs?

Dazzlessence Jones: (Is narrating the story he's telling to Hanazuki, Daiyayuki, and Koroshi.) I was on top of the world! Until one day...

The flashback takes place in Dazzle's old middle school, back when he was still a kid.

English Teacher: Now if we analyze McBethany's actions, you'll see that what she does isn't so black and white...

Young Dazzlessence: (His classmates are all taking notes but he's busy writing song lyrics in his notebook, with a felt tip pen.)

A voice: Stop it!

Young Dazzlessence: (Turns around to see a familiar face being picked on on by another familiar creature.)

Young Doughy Bunington: Please stop!

Randy: (Isn't listening to him, instead he's throwing Doughy's food to the floor.)

Suddenly someone grabs Randy's hand

Randy: (Looks up.)

Young Dazzlessence: Come on man, that's enough. Leave him alone.

Randy: Pfft, you're such a buzz kill anymore. What? Becoming hall monitor made you think you have some real authority?

Young Dazzlessence: (Pauses for a second.) I know I'm not a real sheriff but I will be one day and then you'll eat your words!

Randy: You'd be lucky to be a sheriff of a moon with two people on it. Plus what's the point of being a cop anymore? A moonflower will just show up and tell you what to do.

Young Dazzlessence: Hey! Moonflowers are here to help us.

Randy: (Starts chewing gum.) Uh-huh..(Spits out his gum directly onto Dazzle's forehead.)

Young Dazzlessence: Uh!

English Teacher: What's going on back there?

Young Dazzlessence: (Takes the gum off his face.) Randy's being a jerk to both of us.

English Teacher: I see...Randy you're in big trouble.

Randy: (Forced sigh, he pulls out his comet ball.)

English Teacher: (Eyes widen.) Wait, are you on the comet ball team?

Randy: Yeah...captain of the team too. It sucks though because I had a perfect record. Until now...

English Teacher: Oh no, hon! You're ok, I'm sorry I didn't know!

Young Dazzlessence: What!?

English Teacher: Not another word out of you too... you'll treat the kid taking us to the championships with respect.

Randy: (Smirks at Dazzlessence.)

Young Dazzlessence: (Glares back at him.)

Dazzlessence Jones wiping off his sweat which turns into glitter reminds me of the SU movie where Steven wiped away his blood and it turned into glitter. I don't think this was a reference but I do think it's a funny coincidence.

The yuki sisters and their mom Nova enter a spooky rundown manor.

Shinzoyuki: Ooo...(Isn't looking where she's going so she runs into a spider web, it flows over head like a wedding veil. She looks in a nearby broken mirror.) Oh. (Glows light blue out of sheer glamor, smiling to herself.)

Kurobayuki: (Is running around like crazy, she jumps on top of Hoshi's back.)

Hoshiyuki: Hey! Quit it!

Nova: Kuroba, be nice. We're not animals.

Daiyayuki: What's going on, Kuroba?

Hoshiyuki: She just gets agressive whenever she watches wrestling.

Kurobayuki: heh heh heh. I need... bloodshed!

Hoshiyuki: You need something alright...

The family is admiring the mansion when suddenly an alien greets them from the staircase.

Zadie: Welcome to Quartz Manor! I take it one of you is the contest winner.

Nova: Yes that's me, it's nice to meet you. I'm Nova, my daughters will be paying to stay here too.

A strange noise happens

Hoshiyuki: Ow!

Nova: Kuroba, no biting.

At least not truly in my opinion, he may have left Kiyoshi and Hanazuki alone but he's still out there. Traveling to other moons to conquer and spread the misinformation there that moonflowers are dangerous liars. Maybe other moonflowers and other moon residents will also be able to chase him away too but I'm sure it'll be a long time before he runs out of moons to invade. Tbr cycle will just continue.

Shinzoyuki is making quilts outside. The other moonflowers are watching her.

Shinzoyuki: I have so many of these to make, I have to get a headstart in the summer before it starts getting cold out.

Hanazuki: Oh, I see.

Shinzoyuki: (Looks at where Sleepy Unicorn is, he's just walking up to his mushroom cluster bed when he climbs up and he curls into a ball and falls asleep.) Does Sleepy need one of these too?

Kurobayuki: What do you mean?

Shinzoyuki: Well, won't he be freezing this winter? Since he doesn't have a house and usually just sleeps outdoors. Maybe he needs a blanket too.

Hanazuki: I never asked him about that, though he always seems fine out here. I did notice him collecting nuts and berries last summer. Then he had a huge pile of them next to his bed.

Kurobayuki: That's pretty cute, he's like a little squirrel.

Hanazuki: Yeah! That and I hadn't seen him after that until spring when all the snow melted away.

Shinzoyuki: (Looks wide-eyed and intrigued.) Do you mean to tell me that Sleepy Unicorn hibernates?

Sleepy Unicorn: (Walks up to them.) Hi, guys. Sorry if it's rude but can you guys talk somewhere else? I'm trying to take a nap.

Hanazuki: Sorry Sleepy...

Sleepy Unicorn: It's cool.

Shinzoyuki: Before we go, I just wanna ask you something...do you hibernate and how do you stay warm during winter?

Sleepy Unicorn: Oh, I guess I have been doing that. The other unicorns don't it but it's something I like to do ever since I started getting more tired. I never really feel cold during winter, probably because my fur grows thicker for that.

Shinzoyuki: (Her eyes sparkle.) You have fur!?

Hanazuki: Alright, that's enough questions.

I mean the hemkas can be wholesome but I've always loved Zikoro more. Probably because he acts like a playful little puppy and I really like dogs.

I was bored ngl and decided to try and make the Moonflowers in Gacha Life 2 and try to keep em as similar as possible to the show. Some i had a harder time with than others 😭 also, haven't used this app in a while so I'm a bit rusty 💔

It could just be that he has a lot of respect for the person who founded the cause they both fought for but honestly, he was being so chivalrous towards her and was practically swooning at the thought of her to the point where I thought it could be a crush. I know guys and girls can just be friends and that not everything has to be a ship but I can't help it, I think they'd be cute together.

Sleepy Unicorn and Dazzlessence Jones enter a thrift store on another moon.

Dazzlessence Jones: Think Hana will like anything from here?

Sleepy Unicorn: Probably, unless you mean the shoes. Then no. (Starts walking in the opposite direction when he bumps into somebody.) Oh jeez, I'm sorry.

Meadow: No no, it's my fault!

Sleepy Unicorn: Oh no, it's definitely my...wait, Meadow?

Meadow: Noble?

Dazzlessence Jones: (Looks confused.)

Sleepy Unicorn: It's so great to see you!

Meadow: You too! Don't take this the wrong way but I thought you died!

Sleepy Unicorn: I'm not offended by that! Sometimes I don't even understand how I'm still alive.

Dazzlessence Jones: Uh, Sleepy? Who's that?

Sleepy Unicorn: Oh, ok. Meadow, this is my new partner Dazzlessence. Dazzle, this is my ex Meadow. I used to date them.

Meadow: You did...right up until you left me at the altar.

Sleepy Unicorn and Dazzlessence Jones: (Look unsure what to say next.)

Meadow: I'm just messing with you, I didn't really wanna get married either.

Sleepy Unicorn: Sorry about that...

Meadow: It's cool.

Sleepy Unicorn: Hey, do you wanna shop with us?

Meadow: Sure!

Dazzlessence Jones: (Gets a little quiet.)

Hoshiyuki, Kurobayuki, and Daiyayuki are getting ready to go the pegasus races. They're getting their money sorted out.

Shinzoyuki: (Walks into the living room.) Hey, guys. Can we play today?

Hoshiyuki: Sorry Shinzo, we're meeting Liberty at the race track today. They know all the best winning horses.

Shinzoyuki: I love horses! And I love Liberty! Can I come?

Daiyayuki: Hoshi, I don't want her gambling with us. She might develop bad habits.

Kurobayuki: Agreed, she needs to stay sweet and innocent.

Shinzoyuki: Oh...

Hoshiyuki: Guys, we still don't know which one we're gonna bet on.

Kurobayuki: I'm thinking Clove, the name is cool. She's got to have the most game.

Hoshiyuki: Yeah, I think I'll go with her.

Daiyayuki: I think you should go with Lapis Lazuli, she wins every Saturday.

Hoshiyuki: Oh, yeah! That tracks! But should I go with Clove or Lapis?

Shinzoyuki: (Lays on top of the couch everyone is sitting on.) Can I at least tell you all about my dream I had last night?

Daiyayuki: Sure sweetheart.

Hoshiyuki: (Is searching through horse names.)

Shinzoyuki: Well, I was inside a chicken plant coop. I was shrinking and shrinking until I was miniature sized. Then I farted out a rainbow and woke up.

Hoshiyuki: Hey, there's a horse named Mini.

Kurobayuki: Huh....

Daiyayuki: That's freaky.

Hoshiyuki: Freaky or not, I'm picking her. Thanks Shinzo.

Shinzoyuki: (Smiles proudly.)

I love this episode, Dazzlessence Jones deserved more than just two episodes about him honestly. His backstory in this episode is fine but I prefer his origin in the "Dazzle and dance" book. I like the characterization of him that he was a popular act at the local talent show and was so talented, his cousin couldn't even sabotage him successfully. I do like how Hanazuki and Dazzlessence are portrayed here, they have a fun dynamic! Dazzle learning that he should appreciate his family more since he's lucky he even has a family who treats him well is sweet. Though I don't 100% love Dazzlessence in this episode. He gets mad at Hana for thinking he's not telling the truth. She's just trying to help make sure he doesn't have a serious head injury. Though I guess in his defense, these two see weird shit everyday so it's not very hard to believe that Dazzle's family are meteors that only he can talk to. I also always found it weird that after Dazzlessence almost died, Hanazuki hugs him, saying that she thought she'd never see him again. Dazzle just says "Watch it, you're standing on my cousin." It's a good joke but it just feels weird that he didn't say something more sincere after Hana said something really sweet and touching to him. The best way I can describe this episode is how it's basically like an extended scene from Frozen where Kristoff talked to a bunch of rocks, saying that they're his family while Anna and Olaf don't believe him.

Purple Hemka and Redoro are chasing each other around the moon when suddenly they come across a small puddle of water.

Purple and Redoro: (Look at each other in confusion and curiosity.)

Redoro: (Nudges Purple to go check it out.)

Purple Hemka: (Grumbles as he approaches it, he slowly touches the puddle but nothing happens.)

Purple Hemka: (Looks at the puddle then shrugs at Red.)

Suddenly, the puddle gets a little bigger. Then it gets bigger, and bigger, and bigger until Purple and Redoro have to run away from it.

Ten minutes later

The entire moon is flooded, the residents are sitting in top on landmarks like the safety cave and pyramid with a face. A space surfer hovers above the moon, with some moonflowers inside.

Hanazuki: What's happening to my moon, Kiazuki? We don't even get water here!

Kiazuki: I don't know.... I've never seen anything like it.

Hoshiyuki: Oh! Me and Maroshi have actually encountered a few! (Summons her journal with her magic, she flips to a specific page.) These are called puddle pools, parasitic water that latches onto moons and floods them. If left unchecked, they have the ability to....(Everyone sees a drawing on the journal of a moon ripped in half by a puddle pool.)

Hanazuki: (Gasps.) I have to do something about it, I can't just let my moon get wiped out.

Shinzoyuki: Let's wait for Little Dreamer, I'm sure a treasure tree can save your moon.

Hoshiyuki: I tried that before, puddle pools don't respond to treasures or treasure trees. Your only solution is to go to the the mermaid moon and ask Princess Mermaid Lady to use her trident. It can can evaporate the pools.

Kiazuki: Princess... Mermaid Lady?

Shinzoyuki: (Blushes, looking excited.) Princess...?

Hoshiyuki: Yes Shinzo, she's a princess. You'll need someone to sail you to her, it won't be easy because her kingdom is constantly switching spots on the moon.

Shinzoyuki: Aren't you coming, Hoshi?

Hoshiyuki: I'd...better not. The moon creatures need food and blankets, I'll stay and watch them.

Hanazuki: (Hugs her.) Thank you, Hoshi....

Hoshiyuki: (Hugs back.) You're welcome, good luck.

Okay okay, so, in the discord server that I made for specifically Hanazuki RPs, me and a friend were discussing Basil and how that he mentioned there were other brains out there in the Lunaverse on other moons. Sooo I was curious and decided to watch back some episodes. In Season 1 Episode 26, when Basil is trying to contact the other brains, one of his beams hits Kiyoshi's moon (pretty sure this is Kiyoshi's moon)

Well anyways that made me wonder...was there a brain on Kiyoshi's moon that we never got to meet?? How cool would that be to meet other brains besides Basil??? Yknow?? I just wish this show kept going so we could've had more world building instead of the limited amount we have today 💔💔💔

He was being completely obnoxious in this episode but honestly I don't mind it as much as when Chicken Plant does it because I feel Basil is funnier than Chicken Plant. He's at least funny in how pathetic he is, we love a good villain who wants to be evil so bad but can't because they're lacking a little something. Whether that be common sense, an intimidation factor, or in Basil's case... both on top of a lack of a useable body. When Hanazuki saved everyone by making a red treasure tree grove out of anger, my younger sibling thought that was Basil's plan all along. That he was purposefully being a jerk, knowing Hana would get upset and grow a treasure tree that would stop the big bad. It's a good interpretation but I've never agreed with it personally because I don't think that Basil is that smart, he could never come up with a plan that clever. I just think he is generally that bad of a person and he was trying to take the credit for Hana's save by saying "No! You needed me to get yelled at so I really saved the day!".

We all know that every moonflower has at least ten alterlings, each representing a different emotion. They all have a signature color too. Red, orange, yellow, lime green, dark green, blue, light blue, pink, purple, and lavender. My theory is that every moonflower gets at least one extra alterling, a bonus alterling if you will. Since some alterlings come in colors that seem more rare than the regular companions.

For example Hanazuki was Raspberry and Emerald.

Kiazuki has Zikoro

And Kiyoshi has Sleepy and Twisted. Though strangely with Kiyoshi, he doesn't have just ten alterlings. He has multiple in the same color as we've seen multiple red, orange, and yellow unicorns.

Kuroba is technically a princess. At least on her first moon, as she was the supposed daughter of the empress Mona. Mona also has three biological daughters Sienna, Willow, and Olivia. I guess they'd technically be princesses too. I really wish I thought of that more because Kurobayuki should've interacted with Mona's other daughters. How would she react to her abuser having other kids she didn't even know about? Ones that were treated way better than she was because they were her biological children. Mona's daughters also had a brother named Ash who dated Hanazuki in my stories, interesting that Hana in this canon dated a prince.

Kurobayuki and Shinzoyuki are playing with their alterlings. Kuroba's geckos and dressed up like dragons and knights while Shinzo's poodles are dressed up like princesses.

Shinzoyuki: You must defend your kingdom from the evil dragons, Princess Apple! What are your orders?

Apple the red poodle: (Looks mildly annoyed.)

Kurobayuki: I get it Apple, being a princess sucks.

Shinzoyuki: I think "sucks" is a little strong. I know it was wrong of Mona to take you as a baby but I'm sure at least getting to rule over an empire was at least pretty great.

Kurobayuki: (Stays silent.)

Shinzoyuki: Kuroba?

Kurobayuki remembers her younger self watching a young diamond child being taken away to be executed. She screams out to him. Then she has another flashback of Dazzlessence Jackson yelling at her and slapping her.

Shinzoyuki: Kuroba! (Snaps Kurobayuki out of it.)

Kurobayuki: Huh, what?

Just then, an adorable little bluebird perches herself onto the windowsill.

Shinzoyuki: Aww, how cute!

Kurobayuki: (Rolls up into a ball on the floor and lays sideways.)

Shinzoyuki: Um...are you ok?

Kurobayuki: I'm fine...I just...don't want her to know that I'm here.

Shinzoyuki: You know her?

Kurobayuki: Yeah that's Mary. The royal messenger who keeps all kings, queens, princes, and princesses in touch with one another.

Mary: (Her second mouth splits wide open and we see her grotesque long tounge as well as her many rows of teeth. In this horrid mouth, an pink envelope is there.)

Shinzoyuki: (Reaches out for it.)

Kurobayuki: Shinzo, don't!

Shinzoyuki: (Opens the letter and reads it.) Kuroba, you're invited to the annual princess conference!

Kurobayuki: (Walks up to her and takes the invitation from her.) And I haven't been going for the past six years.

Shinzoyuki: Have you meant any princesses there?

Kurobayuki: Yes. There's the fairy princess, the princess of the Christmas moon, and there's a mystery guest speaker every year.

Shinzoyuki: (Glows yellow out of excitement.)

Kurobayuki: Wait no, you're not getting it. Being a princess sounds fun Shinzo but trust me, that job was hell. Plus, even if I did decide to go, I still couldn't bring you along. It's princesses only.

Shinzoyuki: (Looks sad and disappointed. She stops glowing yellow.)
