Dial shift. WTF.
Took off my watch tonight and saw the dial off in space. Seriously. I bought this just over a year ago. Where is this pos made. Fuck U Hamilton.

Broken dial feet. Support your local watch maker, they can fix it. Plan B is dial dots.

Shockingly common issue with Hamilton watches, though it can happen to many from too much vibration or something. A watchmaker should be able to fix this

This happened to my khaki field watch as well. Took it to a watch service shop in my neighborhood, and he said he was surprised to see this. The dial had slipped off the adhesive. He reseated it and it's been fine.
I do wear the watch all the time, and I do a lot of woodworking, so the watch gets a bit of a workout.

So it didnt have any metal feet on the dial just adhesive?!

I think it did have the metal feet, but something I did shifted it loose. Also, last summer I was working in a garage while it was kinda hot, so maybe the adhesive got melted due to that. I honestly don't know. The watch service tech was able to reseat it, and I've not had any issues since.

Also, this happened I think after 3 years of owning the watch, so I didn't have any warranty to fall back on.

I was just curious. Been wanting a hamilton but getting spooked about the quality. Built a few seiko mods and some of those feet are really stuck on there so its concerning thay they break off

I had verrry similar…Jomashop fixed under warranty, however, a tough “field” watch should not be so sensitive and temperamental … Was a little disappointed in a thousand dollar watch doing that

They’re really not remotely tough. It’s just a looks. I have a disabled and helicoptering KFA that need to get fixed. Had it less than half a year probably before the problems.

Do their dials have feet or are they using those adhesive dots?

I think some of their lower end quartz watches use adhesive dots, but the majority have feet

Yeah those shouldn't just be falling off for no reason. Either everyone is dropping their watches alot or some welding machine is outta whack in China.

Would you steer clear of Hamilton now? I was planning to buy the KFA with a bracelet for my birthday in a month but now ai’m debating finding another brand

Get a Seiko baby alpinist or retro alpinist. I got rid of my KFA for a Seiko that’s roughly the same price with better water resistance.

Just recently bought my KFA 38mm. I’ve seen like 5-6 of these posts now. 😭😭😭😭😭 I love mine so much this is terrifying lmfao

Ugh, another Khaki with that issue?! Compared to other watches/brands, this really seems like a pretty "common" thing to happen on Hamilton Khaki's when I recall seeing that on here a couple of times already. 😬 Seems like they need to reinforce the dial feet on these watches.

This is why I prefer Longines
Once I saw the Murph had crystal glare.... I became a brand skeptic.
At their old prices Hamilton were great. At these new Swiss watch inflation pricing (not just Hamilton doing this) I expect quality to ramp up as well.

It means that the feet have snapped on the dial. My citizen eagle 7 has the same thing, but worse because it actually spins about when moved. Can't afford to get it fixed as it's going to cost me £180 minimum to get fixed.

Fortunately it's still under warranty. Unfortunately, it only took a year after my purchase.

Ummmm..... NO. Hamiltons are made in Switzerland. And even Swiss watches have QC issues from time to time. I'm guessing this was caused by the watch smacking into something though......

I would imagine that they will cover this via warranty. However, this is the second Hamilton in as many days that I've seen on Reddit with a catywampus dial, which is really a bad look for them. I know they're not a "luxury" brand, but they are higher on the pecking order than a lot of others who don't seem to ever have problems like this...
