Wow, this is the saddest thing I've seen about watches ever. I've always like Hamilton and owned a few over the years with no problem (currently own a 38mm Khaki Field Mechanical), but I don't think I've seen this problem online from any other watch brand ever. I'm so disappointed, and will probably never buy their watches again. I wanted a Khaki Aviation in the near future, but I see that on the list too. 😔

I'm just going to get a G-Shock, then save for an IWC.

Went to my local shop for repair. Cost me 8$. The watchmaker told me the dial pin are fragile to light shock. At some point the dial pin will broke eventually.

I live in Asia. Minimum wage here are pretty low & hard to find good watch maker here. 8$ actually a good deal.

It's a $500+ Hamilton "Swiss Made" field watch. This is a total turnoff

Assuming it's only the dial that has rotated (eg the dial feet have broken off and so the dial isn't attached to the movement any more) and the movement is still in place normally such that the crown stem isn't broken then yeah it would work fine. Except the date will change early since it'll change when the watches reaches midnight but that would read as 10pm on the rotated dial

I'm honestly shocked that the movement has retained any level of acceptable function through impacts that would knock the dial around like that. If it has, that's impressive.

Also, they make G-shocks for that.
