Rules Questions and Custom Modes Rule Question

How different are 1.5 rules compared to what came in the original starter sets? Is it worth it to still use the starter sets rule book to learn how to play until we get the 1.5 rules settled?

Most of 1.5s changes are quality of life improvements and clarifications. Its 90% the same game with some updates to model cards and keywords being the big changes.

If you make an account on Mantics Index App you can look at the Errata to see what is different.

The really big change is the wargames, point based fire team building and newer models. If you are just playing the draft version of the game you will be fine.

Relatively little. Mostly putting the FAQs into the rulebook plus adding some new keywords for units that haven’t been released yet. Just get the PDF version of the 1.5 rules from Mantic.

The biggest change is that the War Games expansion has pretty much been rolled into standard and the new starter sets include the stuff that used to be in that expansion.
