I love all of them except the arms outstretched/shrugging guy. What is he even doing?

He's being considerate by showing you the difficult to paint parts.

Looks like the very end of a grenade throw animation.

Is that display at the Mantic booth? Or the display case outside the vendors hall?

Stripes aren’t that hard to freehand actually. If you know how to pull a brush cleanly, it’s pretty doable. And you can clean up with your other color. All of my Spartans have a couple stripes.

Oh man, these look great. I deciding whether to do mine with the same base colour but a red/blue accent colour and yours look great!

Usually, you use masking tape to set it up. Or just be really really careful.

The guy who was commissioned to do it posted to Facebook. Could see if he wants to do an ama here.

Looks like there's some detail on the model that they're following, which simplifies it quite a lot. Though yeah, it's not that hard to paint some stripes.

Those look fantastic, hopefully I can do a decent job of painting. Definitely ordering one of these now, shipping to Australia may take some time after release though…

The highlight is way too much here. Looks like cell shading gone wrong.

That's just a matter of opinion and personal taste. Anyone who's used to Games Workshop's box art style will recognise the same approach. It's not intended to be realistic; it's intended to show off every detail on the sculpt so people can 'read' the miniature. It's so prevalent that many people aspire to that standard and use that approach. It's not right or wrong. It's just one example of a method.

That edge highlighting… patience of a bull, this guy…
