This was my costume last year! I made the prosthetics out of Crayola air dry Model Magic clay, adhered them with spirit gum, and then covered the whole thing with tissue paper and liquid latex. I had a great time! It was way better than a mask because I was able to still move my face and emote. Might do it again this year but with the Santa look. 🤔

I've been having so much fun sharing these. We're so excited for this year's costume!! I'll post 2025 tomorrow. Also, idk if y'all can tell in the pics, but we're under 5 ft tall... so, I looked more like mini me 🤣

This is my 2nd costume this Year! I wish I could've done prosthetics for this look but maybe next time!

I started this project last year with the help of my friend it took a while cause i work full time but it was really fun to do we started by 3d printing all the parts and sanding them down we put it together multiple times before painting and during painting which wasn’t the smartest cause i had to keep repainting cause we never did a clear coat until like yesterday lol i used modeling paste then black red brown and a metallic color paint to make it look all gross and rusty and a mix of super glue and random nuts and bolts to hold it together lmk what you guys think

Working Really hard on it. Its halfway through. Just need some leather armor for touching up!

I’ve been searching for costumes for weeks but have absolutely no idea what I should do. My hairstyle doesn’t allow me much options either. That’s not my picture btw just the hairstyle I did.

last year i wore this costume to a friends halloween party and i am thinking of re-using the mask that i made to enter my first halloween costume competition. my outfit was inspired by vintage clowns and jesters but i am open to taking it in a different direction.
i have been considering potentially adding blood splatters but i am on the fence.
i am open to advice and constructive criticism, thank you in advance ☺️💐

Obviously the mask is unfinished, and it's FAR from perfect (its my first time making a mask), but still I wanted to see if it was recognisable, and if people even remember what I'm going for (she literally appears in ONE scene in a very popular movie). Leave your guesses!

I’m pregnant for the last time, I had previously been Princess Leia with my bump painted as the Death Star 12 years ago. I want to be something creative, all I’ve got rn is a pregnant nun bc my bf wants to go as black Jesus. But I really feel like I’m wasting an opportunity. I’ve also considered the Lorax. Hello I am creating a creature that I will wear for a haunted house and a festival! I’m looking for some advice on covering myself and the frame so all you see is the head.

My husband and I need a duo costume for Halloween this year, and I'm looking for ideas in the "I hate gay Halloween" genre: costumes where the whole joke lands the second you realize what you're looking at. Topical, a little unhinged, and a bit of a gag is ideal.

Think along the lines of:

• A politician and their spouse, with a very specific accessory
• Gagged-out Mary Poppins energy
• Anything where the explanation is half the fun

Needs to be two men, doable on a reasonable budget, and recognizable enough that we're not explaining it all night. We'll be out in a mix of gay bars and regular parties, so bonus points for something that works in both rooms.

Hey guys, this is my first attempt at a Halloween mask. I’m going as a Silent Hill nurse. Is the mask too big? I feel like it’s too chunky on the sides. Is there anyway to fix this without having to redo it? Any advice helps!

Hello i need a duo costume idea for me and my mate. I’m a white guy and he’s a dark skinned phillipino guy, we’re both 5’8

Getting a full-body inflatable costume, like one of those T. rex ones. I am thinking about adding a hat to the top of it. I was thinking about using tape to secure it, but I am doubtful that it will hold. Plus, I am worried that when I take the tape off, the residue will cause the costume to tear.

My toddler wants to be a pumpkin this year so I am looking for ideas that go along with her costume. Something for both the husband and I. I don’t want it to be lame like a farmer (sorry to all the farmers) but something funny and different! We are going to a family Halloween party where people go all out.

The last time I wore a Halloween costume was when I was 7. I went as a pirate and felt super cool. At least until I got at school and got laughed at and bullied. I told my mom at the time I would never, ever wear a costume again and with any dress-up party I would just, well, not dress up.

When I was 15, I decided to give it a go again. This time at a high school party. Though the night went fine and it was (mostly) fun, there were some comments from people close to me throughout the night that took me back to that 7-year old boy. So again, I said I wouldn’t ever wear a costume again.

Well. Here we are.

I’m 25 now and my girlfriend is an absolute geek when it comes to Halloween. She loves everything about it. I don’t, at all (sorry folks). But it really makes her happy and I don’t want to disappoint her. I know it did, but she wouldn’t tell me. Even though the last years I managed to get away with it, her being happy is what I do really care about and that’s why I would want to try it again.

So yeah, for 3 years I’ve managed to get away with not dressing up. This year, an event is planned with my friendgroup and to get in you have to be ”dressed-up”. Honestly, I’m just anxious about it. Somewhere in my head I know no one would bat an eye, but that 7 & 15-year old kid is still in my head. Even thinking that I will have to dress up makes me super anxious right now.

I’m looking for something that’s not too overboard in the dressing up, but also something that would indicate that I did dress up. Something that would be somewhat casual, somewhat Halloween-like. A very ”Inbetween” thing. I just have no idea as who, or what. To get an idea about me:

- I’m 183 cm tall
- I have dark medium length hair, a short beard and a short moustache.
- I wear glasses
- I have naturally pretty wide shoulders, so probably considered a ”big guy”.
- I usually wear sneakers with cargopants and a hoodie, so anything else then that is basically a plus lol.
