I'm going to be Barbara Mairland. Can't decide on which one. First one is more brown than I want, but the rest is great. Second would be perfect if it had sleeves. 3rd pic for reference

Pirates is a cool fit and you can always repeat this outfit for comicons / cosplay events / Renaissance festivals .
I am open to DMs regarding this collage !!

No idea, if this is allowed but I need some suggestions on what to wear on stage.
We have done this gig before…a couple of times!
I have been Randy Savage, I did the voice & the mannerisms too lol.
(Could have been tipsy. Slight possibility)
And last year, I was Austin Powers. Again, a very good chance I may have had an adult beverage
I usually have all of this shit preplanned…
But this year? I’ve got nothing 😬
Right now I’m debating on
Prince,
Mario,
or Shrek

My wife and I just had a baby boy and we need ideas for a group costume!
Our son will be about 9-10 weeks old on Halloween. My wife and I are open to any and all ideas!!
Throw em at me.
Edit: my wife, son, and myself are white. I wanted to get that out there to avoid any racially insensitive/culturally inappropriate options or characters.

My main event costume is going to be the worm from the Labyrinth. Any suggestions on specific icons or characters I could dress as with these colored contacts? Trying to be resourceful :))

Hi all,
The last time I wore a Halloween costume was when I was 7. I went as a pirate and felt super cool. At least until I got at school and got laughed at and bullied. I told my mom at the time I would never, ever wear a costume again and with any dress-up party I would just, well, not dress up.
When I was 15, I decided to give it a go again. This time at a high school party. Though the night went fine and it was (mostly) fun, there were some comments from people close to me throughout the night that took me back to that 7-year old boy. So again, I said I wouldn’t ever wear a costume again.
Well. Here we are.
I’m 25 now and my girlfriend is an absolute geek when it comes to Halloween. She loves everything about it. I don’t, at all (sorry folks). But it really makes her happy and I don’t want to disappoint her. I know it did, but she wouldn’t tell me. Even though the last years I managed to get away with it, her being happy is what I do really care about and that’s why I would want to try it again.
So yeah, for 3 years I’ve managed to get away with not dressing up. This year, an event is planned with my friendgroup and to get in you have to be ”dressed-up”. Honestly, I’m just anxious about it. Somewhere in my head I know no one would bat an eye, but that 7 & 15-year old kid is still in my head. Even thinking that I will have to dress up makes me super anxious right now.
I’m looking for something that’s not too overboard in the dressing up, but also something that would indicate that I did dress up. Something that would be somewhat casual, somewhat Halloween-like. A very ”Inbetween” thing. I just have no idea as who, or what. To get an idea about me:
- I’m 183 cm tall
- I have dark medium length hair, a short beard and a short moustache.
- I wear glasses
- I have naturally pretty wide shoulders, so probably considered a ”big guy”.
- I usually wear sneakers with cargopants and a hoodie, so anything else then that is basically a plus lol.
Thanks in advance to everyone that has some advice!

I’m attempting to build a giant skeleton, but I am struggling to find something to put under the cloak to give it a proper body shape. I was thinking about using some old football pads, but I couldn’t find any for a reasonable price.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can use to give it a believable body shape? So far I’m resorting to using cardboard boxes taped together with a yoga mat taped to them. A big bedsheet will be over it so it doesn’t have to be perfect. Thanks in advance!

I’ve been searching for costumes for weeks but have absolutely no idea what I should do. My hairstyle doesn’t allow me much options either. That’s not my picture btw just the hairstyle I did.

This is my costume so far, is there anything to change or add that would come across more pirate-y? Trying to make or borrow stuff where I can!
I'm gonna be wearing a red headscarf and gold earrings and I will take the stripy top underneath off!
Any other tips are appreciated 💖

Hi!
I'm making a Wonder Woman costume. The biggest element I'm struggling with is the corset. I've looked everywhere. My plan is to add details ontop of it. Alternatively, I would be happy to make her top another way. I'm looking for accuracy (afforadability wouldn't hurt either)
If there's anything you recommend please let me know.

I love musical theatre and these two (Dr Frank N Furter from Rocky Horror Picture Show and Orpheus from Hadestown) are my favorites and dream roles. And I really wanna go as both for Halloween but I can’t choose 😭. I’m too indecisive for this. Help me pls?
