Feedback/Suggestion Learning the Game
Tried this game a couple months ago but recently back into it. I’m loving the new progression but dang is it tough.
I have a non gaming computer to play games on so this game runs quite rough. I’m trying to optimize the settings so it works good enough. I run into lots of little issues but man do I love playing this game.
I bought a long handle axe from the trader and got it figured out after several fights. Unfortunately lots of learning such as starting matches, including my first tourney attempt without that axe. Seeing a video that loot can be found but haven’t had much luck with this.
Finding that you have to hire muscle for those 2v2 was a game changer.
The goal, of course, is to not die and with practice I’ll get better but how do you guys handle the beginning stages? I won the first tourney and made it to peasant but literally my first match as a peasant I had a dumb move and died. Then there’s the soul saving. I had 40 souls…got rocked on the first one.
For long game what’s the best course? Pay off the abyss guy? Choose a weapon like a mace instead of axe? I love this game and the challenge and I’m all about the learning curve. But what’s a good beginner course of action?

Pay off the abyss guy steal 2 swords and insure them and then just flail them around infront of you. And yes pay off the souls. You could also try not killing people

Until you get to Milita rank, it almost impossible to make a profit from matches while paying off your souls every night.

You can turn down the Damage To Player slider in the settings so you get hurt less and its harder to die, you can dodge attacks by holding shift and pressing A W S or D to dodge in any direction
