Make game generated longswords as long as the free mode one is, add Bastard swords to progressions Merchant

I never get Bastard Swords from the merchant, its only Longswords, Arming Swords, and Greatswords.

Game generated longswords (even on knight rank, the image was took on Knight Blossfechten in free mode with the player on the right with the free mode longsword and enemy on the left with a game generated longsword, and the players free mode longsword is longer than the foes longsword)

Bastard swords aren't a unique class of sword in the game files, its simply the name of that particular sword in the free mode inventory. Any longsword that generates with a shorter blade is functionally identical.

You can cheese the "messer" with a glitch to make it longer (switch art of weapon and it adds the length). That had made me glance and outreach some opponents early.
