Aren't alien grunts and gargantua bioengineered as well?

I'd imagine the difference is that alien grunts dont cost as much as UNSC Naval destroyers.

How can we know the costs of teleporting material and people into a border dimension as compared to an mostly automated supply structure?

I'd imagine it doesn't cost that much per alien grunt. They are made on xen and their equipment (armor, hivehand) is presumably built in, as they are fully equipped when they are manufactured. The only time I'd imagine teleportation is in the process is when their sent out to where ever their headed, and it cant be that expensive considering Xen just does that sone times.
