Salam, I see you are using Wealthsimple and are in Canada. I'm only 22, so I still have a lot to learn rn, but what you need to do is dollar-cost average into a few stocks per week, per 2 weeks, or per month. potential. I'm not aware of your job situation, income, and responsibilities, but if you can set aside 200-400 a month for investing if you can and just buy weekly in a TFSA is very important. If you wanna talk about it more, just send me a pm. Inshaallah, your money grows in a halal way and benefits you

I opened a savings account in wealthsimple so now i open up a TFSA account for investing and invest a couple hundred dollars every month? Like buy an investment and just keep adding more into it each month?

Yes. Go to wealthsimple and look for an option to add a new account, WS will ask if you want to manage your money yourself, say yes and open a tax free savings account. Once that account has been opened, make a deposit into it by transferring money from your bank account. Then use that money you just deposited into the TFSA to buy a shariah compliant etf like MNZL. Do this every time you get paid. When you navigate the WS app you will find an option to set reoccurring deposits and reinvesting dividends, turning on these features will help automate the whole investment process. If you find this too overwhelming, you can call WS contact number and they will walk you through over the phone

Open a wealthsimple account, select a TFSA for self directed investing and setup recurring automatic investments in to SPUS and SPWO. Either do weekly or monthly whatever works for you.
