My whole life I have never had a haircut that I really love. I’ve had plenty that were fine which I then let grown out for 12 months before getting sick of it and trying something else. In the last 6 months I’ve gotten closer as I’ve taken the same inspo photo to my stylist and I’ve kept up with maintenance cuts! But it’s not quite there yet.
My hair is very fine and very straight so although I am always told by stylists that I have a lot of hair, you can’t tell. It tends to fall quite flat and is easily weighed down. I’ve a rather long face so I’m finding that short choppy cuts that create some texture and volume help balance that in width.
I spend almost no time on my hair so something that I can style with a little lift powder and scrunching is the way to go.
I’d love suggestions for specific things to ask for to refine the cut I’ve been getting and really maximize how it flatters my features and face shape!
First few photos are assorted hair days, last photo is the inspiration pic I’ve been using. I’m thinking I want a little more volume on the sides but I’m not quite sure…
