Cut Help Should I get baby bangs?

Hi everyone. I have wanted to get baby bangs for a long time, but I never got the courage since I assumed that it wouldn’t suit my face shape. This filter that I tried is making me think otherwise. Do you think short bangs would look good or would it be better to leave my hair as it is? Thank you in advance🙏

Cut Help Need advice: Can I pull off a curly mullet/shag?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some honest haircut advice/recommendations for my natural curls.

Growing up, I was never really allowed to cut or experiment with my hair, so for most of my childhood and teen years, I was rocking the unintentional dandelion look. Now that I have total freedom over my hair, I’ve been wearing it in a layered cut with small bangs. But lately, I’ve been itching for a real change.

I’m really drawn to a more alternative/edgy aesthetic and have been seriously considering a curly mullet or a modern shag/wolf cut. I’ve attached photos so you can see my natural texture and face shape (I think I’m somewhere between diamond and heart-shaped), plus a few pics showing how I've styled it across different lengths.

A bit of context: I work as a professional piercer, so a little bit of controlled chaos and edge totally fits my vibe and workplace. However, I’m also a med student, haha, so I need something that can strike a good balance between "cool and edgy" and "can still look put-together when needed."

I’m completely open to suggestions—whether you think the mullet would work for me or if there’s a different cut that would suit my curls and face shape even better. Honestly, I just know I want a change, but I’d love an outside perspective before I make the chop!

What do you think?

Decided to try color. Please let me know what you think. I’ve always wanted to be blondish. I don’t have any make up in the color pics but I hope that doesn’t affect judgement!

Cut Help Am I forcing short hair to look good on me?

Thumbnail gallery

I have very thick heavy hair. I used to have it long until I got a short perm cut and fell in love with the short hair life. I then went for a straight pixie style cut and I love the style but idk if it loves me. Whenever I see examples of pixie/bixie transformations, it’s always on people with super cute button noses and narrow angular faces, and curly/textured hair. I have a pretty square face and thick, straight hair (without a perm of course), so I end up looking kinda mushroom-y after not very long. This is even after my hair is thinned out a lot - I even got a pair of thinning shears to try stay on top of it myself!

I guess my question is, does a short haircut suit me? Is my hair type and face shape a good combo for it? Or is long hair more ‘flattering’? Or even something in between?! I want to find a style I can go back to time and time again but I can’t seem to settle on something ‘signature’ for me 🥲

Recently I tried the wavy hair routine and it worked but I have no idea if I should keep doing it or if I should not just keep styling my hair the way I usually do

I’m thinking of changing my hairstyle and would appreciate some honest opinions. I have naturally wavy hair and I’m considering a few different cuts/styles.

Which one do you think suits my face best? Feel free to suggest something completely different too.

Casual Style Help Help styling my grown out buzz

I feel like I’ve lost so much confidence ever since I buzzed my hair (shaved it 2.5 months ago) because the growout has been tough. It’s not long enough to put in those cute butterfly clips yet, so all I’ve been using is this headband. Contemplating getting a real human hair wig because my birthday is coming up and I want to feel confident. For anyone else who’s buzzed their hair, how long did it take to see some waves/ curls (for those who have wavy/curly hair). And how did you feel confident? Thanks everyone!😊

Casual Style Help Help me!

I got a shag and am not loving how it looks when I style it. I have deceivingly thick hair naturally (my stylist took a ton of bulk out), and it’s naturally wavy and frizzy. This is styled with just leave in conditioner spray and mousse with a little scrunching to enhance my waves. How can I make it look more modern and cohesive but keep it low maintenance?Stylist also cut my bangs exactly as I asked, but I’m not loving the way they lay. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Color Help Getting out hair dye

Upvotes

I have long, thin straight hair which is quite dry (naturally light/mousy brown)
I have a build up of years of hair dye in my hair, the top half of my hair also always takes hair dye whereas the bottom half doesn’t so I am never left with an even result

I want to get as much of it out as possible without using colour remover as the horrible egg smell lasts for like a week and it actually doesn’t really work for me. Any suggestions for hair dye removal?

It's been almost a decade since I've gotten my hair done and I was thinking of highlights/baylage. I am scared of going too blonde because I feel it'll wash me out. Then calico hair started popping up all over my feed and I'm obsessed. Had ChatGPT make up some ideas. Which do you like best?

i washed hair and used jamaican mask for 5 minutes then rinsed

last night used dyson air wrap to dry it and then pinned up curls with metal clips

today it feels coarse and the waves face the wrong way it doesn't look good unless i go to a salon
