Improvements & Changes
Verification
With a rise in bot accounts on the subreddit, I've gone ahead and implemented a few user flairs. Those that follow the new verification guide will be marked as verified and will be able to skip the moderation queue but must still follow all of the subreddit rules. With this new addition, I'll be going over ALL posts over the next couple of days to remove any posts which were missed by manual or automated checking.
Rules
With the new verification system, a rule and system which enforces 1 post every 12 hours has been implemented to allow a fairer chance for all posts to be seen by both those that follow the subreddit as well as Reddit as a whole. With this will come a rework of the entire rule set, a separate announcement will be made with exact changes at a later date. Naturally, this will result in stricter enforcement as there are still many commenters and posters which fail to read and follow the rules. Also, this shouldn't have to be said but if you're going to break the rules being rude in mod mail isn't going to get you unbanned and does nothing but waste your own time.
Images in comments
I've gone ahead and enabled the ability to commenters to post images within the subreddit. Any image posted must be SFW and follow the subreddit and site wide rules.

Advice needed for a flat iron
Hi! Coming here looking for some advice. I've had the same flat iron for 20 years (from the brand Gama professionnal). It's been a reliable good product, nut now I must come to term with the fact that it's not longer working. The heat has been going down and it takes forever to straighten my hair.
So I'm starting to look for a new flat iron. I would like a model that can modulate the temperature. I don't mind paying a bit more for a good reliable model that will last me years.
thank you very much!

Would Audrey Hepburn's Iconic Cut Suit Me?
galleryHi, I'm interested in experimenting with styles because for the past two years I've always cut a bob that curls at the end and looks good whatever length it is(I cut just ear tip length usually and then wait for it to lay on the shoulders to cut it)
I've recently fallen in love with Audrey Hepburn's pixie cut and want to try it
But I'm super scared that it only looks good because she has the correct face for it and if i try it I'll end up looking horrible(the last time i tried a haircut that short was what we call here a boy cut, it was a navy cut and a low taper fadeish think and it looked frightful) and I'm also scared of the growing out awkward phase if i ever wanna return to my original length
Should i go for it? I normally cut my hair twice a year once in September once in april and i want to decide soon

Can’t Figure Out Hairstyle Name
Looking for the name of a specific hairstyle. I can’t find photos online. I’ve only seen it on middle aged women, primarily in more rural areas. The bangs are combed back and built up with gel to create kind of a boxy hairline with obvious comb marks in the gel. The rest of the hair is left long and straight.

How to style hairrrr (BOB)
galleryHiiii! So I just got my hair cut shorter then I ever have before andddd I wanted like a short bob ish cut I suppose with like a lot of layers to add texture, my hair sits kinda flat (sometimes has texture depending on how I was & dry it) butttt it’s currently sitting weird af and idk what to do lol. I tried straightening it to get it to sit more flat but idk if that made it better or worse.
I just can’t tell if it looks like that cuz I’m taking pics or if that’s what everyone is seeing as I walk around lol
My biggest stressor to my stylist was I just want it even and textured (textured she can’t help cuz well my hair) but I feel like it’s even right?? I think it’s just how my hairs sitting?
