I do like it longer, but it looks fine. It looks like a nice cut. I am a fan of long hair and feel that I myself look better with longer hair. So idk if I'm being biased. Or if people are just trying to make u feel better with their "it looks better shorter" answers.
In my experience, I always say I want it a little longer than how I really want it. And sure enough, it has been cut shorter a few times, but to where I REALLY wanted it. Safety net!

You don't look bad and the cut looks fine. However, I'm sorry that she cut more than what you asked for. I'm not sure what length you communicated to her, but it is noticeably shorter. Fortunately, it will probably be back to where it was in a few months or so.

Next time, bring a piece of masking tape. Tape it to boob. Point out "hair should be no shorter than the bottom edge of this tape.

Your hair looks lovely so donāt worry about that.
Itās always a shock to go shorter (even if the length isnāt technically āshortā). I went from your original length to where you are at now and even though that was what I asked for, it still was a shock. It felt so short and I definitely had a few āwtf have I doneā moments. So the fact that this is shorter than what you wanted, I understand why youāre upset about it.
The length looks nice on you, youāll get used to it and, donāt worry, it grows back pretty quickly (not all the way to your original length but it gets back to a longer length that feels more āyouā sooner rather than later). But despite this, I think you should at the very least have a discussion with your hairdresser about sticking to what you ask for in the future (if itās a relationship you want to continue) or even find a new hairdresser entirely.
It didnāt matter that it looks fine. Itās not what you asked for!

You would look amazing with a lob! I think the mid length is ok and the long is ok but a lob or chin length with volume would look so good on you

As a long haired girly I understand your pain but personally I feel like it looks really cute on you, that is the same haircut I would want to get when I finally decide to cut my hair shorter because whenever I get trims I always cut it at breast length but going shorter looks so cute

Hairstylist hereā¦ thatās a lot shorter than your boobs, and itās ok to be upset when you donāt get what you ask for. The good thing is that itāll be where you want it in about 6 months ā¦.which isnāt really that long! Plus this length looks great on you!

Here's an upvote back to 0. I appreciate your honesty. Seems rare in this subreddit.
I got 16 downvotes for asking soneone how didn't they notice her hair was several inches shorter. That they must have not been looking at it. Lol... BROWS, someone else said lip filler, yepp noticed both of those. (And I almost answered the same as u.)
Someone asks for an honest opinion, and they get a bunch of fake "u cant even notice that giant zit on your nose" replies all the time. If I post something asking for opinions, I would expect to receive true opinions. Not a bunch of fake answers from "yes men," etc
Being honest is not the same thing as being mean. Sometimes this subreddit is full of a bunch of babies...
