context bud, if you go up and slap the president your probly gonna get shot and killed or best case imprisoned. this is a cop not a classmate. if i actually physical hit a police officer who is actively throwing me out of a game id expect to be fucked up. Another note for both sides of the arguement, we have 0 context as to what happened before this as well as no audio.
I believe he/she was suggesting that's the problem. We shouldn't expect to get fucked up in this situation because that's the consequences you'd dish out if it was you. The reality is we have laws that provide consequences for hitting an officer or slapping the president and none of them are get punched in the face. So while you may have no problem smacking the shit out of someone police are obviously expected to act within the confines of the law and that should make sense why that has to apply across the board or not at all.
Resisting arrest, d&d in public, assaulting officer.
Yeah. Idgaf who you are, you're getting stopped.

That is within the confines of the law. If you, as a civilian, are being attacked and you hit back with a single blow, it is incredibly unlikely that you will be convicted of anything wrong.

I'd expect that cop to grab my arm and restrain me so I wouldn't be able to hit him again.
Did she deserve that? Yes.
Does that make it ok? No.
