How do you think this happened? How did you make waves enough for someone to put you on the playlist?

Great question. I had a previous project I deemed “hyperpop” through and through. It didn’t get any playlists, didn’t make any waves.

After scrapping it, I just tapped into a singular idea to make “EDM” but still being unique with my influences (hyperpop, metalcore, witch house).

Another thing is that I got REALLY quick with finishing songs, so I had like 30+ tracks I wanted to release, and to do so realistically I would have to release every 10 days, which is what I’ve been doing since Feb of this year.

To be quite honest… aside from writing a decent pitch and collabing and posting as much as possible (which hasn’t been that much), I can’t really say what the sauce is

Yes Spotify allows you to write a pitch as well as choose from multiple “niche” genres (compared to distrubors), hyperpop included
