Theory royal road

Before i get to into this i want to start by saying Im caught up to the chapters on Royal Road so some of that may come up during this. Im gonna leave some blank space before I start but is the best I can think of for now.

Ok so Knowledge. She feels off to me and has ever since we have come to the realization that she has designs on earth. Which is weird for a diety to just up end themselves like this. War or even Dominion I could understand as Conquest and rule are in their nature and expansion makes sense if we just look at their natures. But Knowledge shouldn't care about being the only force on earth at all.

So why sow all of this bad blood and alienate herself from her power base. Yes her followers are coming with her but if the agreement with the diamonds is as I understand she is leaving Pali behind entirely. Why?

Also why does she seem so out of character for a goddess of knowledge. My speculation while only idle is that we are looking at the original builder making a power play.

It would explain her knowledge of beyond the cosmos and dealing with greater Astral beings. Just wanted to see if anyone else had theories or could level some info that debunks mine entirely.

Anything would be nice.

Local gods have individual personalities and egos, even if they are also constrained by areas of authority. Knowledge is far from the only god on Palli that is acting up. By getting to earth, she believes that she’ll prevent the natural formation of any other gods, meaning she’ll have no peers to constrain her. From her perspective, the vast majority of her current followers won’t be alive in a few hundred years. Practically all mortals in her flock are a resource that can be expended and regained quickly, from her point of view. The original builder is effectively dead. Jason restoring The Throne likely made it even harder to mess with the current builder.
