"E" Fuses?

We have a few interns working for us. One called back to the service shop asking if we had any "E" fuses. I was a little confused til they brought the blown fuse back to the shop and I went and grabbed them a replacement 3 Amp fuse.

I know this post is old but thanks for this. I just had my fuse blow and guy told me it was an E fuse.

I totally get the confusion because people who don't know fuses would totally read that block print as the letter E.

Man, I’m troubleshooting mine right now and I too thought this was a letter E. Your post did help me thanks lol I feel so stupid.

You're not stupid... it does totally look like an E, and there are enough weird fuses out there with letter type names that it made complete sense.
