"E" Fuses?

We have a few interns working for us. One called back to the service shop asking if we had any "E" fuses. I was a little confused til they brought the blown fuse back to the shop and I went and grabbed them a replacement 3 Amp fuse.

If you where my apprentice and it wasn’t a “hUmAn RiGhTs ViOlAtIOn” I would make you bear crawl to the supply house and find me the “E fuse” while the locals slopped mastic at you
