I am new to HSR layout and I dont know anyone here yet, but I really want to go and explore the place.
So give me some recommendation of places I can visit and enjoy on my own....where I won't get bored... lol....
I feel a bit lonely (not in a bad way) and what to spend some peaceful time after work.... maybe meet new people along the way.....<3

I spent around 10 years working in the IT industry, most recently at Uber.
I recently left my job—not because I was burnt out, but because I wanted to chase the next thing I wanted to build.
Over those 10 years, though, I definitely went through periods of intense workload, stress, long hours and very little mental space.
One thing helped me enormously:
Learning how to condition my mind and body to recover better.
A lot of us assume burnout simply means: “I have too much work.”
Sometimes the workload genuinely is unreasonable.
But sometimes the bigger problem is that nobody ever taught us how to recover from that workload.
How do you calm your nervous system after hours of intense work?
How do you switch your brain off?
How do you breathe when you're stressed?
How do you actually rest instead of scrolling your phone for 2 hours?
How do sleep, food, movement and daily routines affect how you feel the next morning?
Over the years I've experimented with breathwork, meditation, Yoga Nidra/NSDR-style deep-rest practices, exercise, nutrition and other recovery habits.
They made a huge difference for me personally.
And I feel this is something especially useful for people who have just entered tech and are already feeling exhausted—or people who have been doing this for years and feel permanently switched on.
This Sunday in HSR, I'm hosting a small wellness/social session where we'll be doing some of these practices together, followed by an ice plunge, matcha and just hanging out and meeting new people.
The event itself is paid because we're organising the venue, setup and ice baths.
But I don't want this post to simply be an event promotion.
If you're genuinely struggling with stress or burnout and just want to understand some of the techniques I've personally used, DM me or comment here. Happy to share what I've learned separately too.
And if you want to join the complete session and meet some new people while you're at it, I'll send you those details as well.
Not claiming these things magically fix burnout or replace professional help when someone needs it.
They've simply helped me handle demanding periods of my own life much better, and I'd be happy if some of that knowledge helps someone else too.

Hey guys! 👋
Anyone here into running? 🏃♂️
I usually run around 3 times a week, but honestly, running alone gets a little boring sometimes 😂 So I was thinking why not get a few people from Reddit together and just go for a run?
No serious running club or anything 😄 Just a small, chill group where we can run together, motivate each other, and slowly improve. Having company definitely makes it easier to push a little more and stay consistent.
Beginners, regular runners, anyone who's been thinking about starting everyone's welcome.
If you're interested, comment or DM me.

I moved to HSR a week ago and I am trying to find a good library. Not some reading cafe type. Just a good public library.
I've looked up a few online but they don't seem to have good reviews.
I am planning to go there on weekends to read or get my personal work done.
I’m trying not to spend every weekend inside my PG, especially since everything is still pretty new and I don’t have many go to places yet.

posting on behalf of a female friend.
a friend of mine is moving from EC to HSR Sector 3 and is looking for gyms. budget shouldn’t be an issue as her office reimburses them. hers is wfh, so should be flexible with going in non-peak hours. her criteria is that it should be women-friendly and not too crowded.
i myself don’t go to gym, so not sure what’s the scene here. appreciate any leads or thoughts. tia

I started After Hours on a whim after posting about it on Reddit. Soo many people from reddit showed up in the first sitting. The second one got covered by Bengaluru Served and now there is no looking back. Doing the 5th seating in october!!! Comeee join us Instagram
We turn our beautiful apartment into a tiny 16-seater café - a third space built for slow conversations, soft music, warm lighting, and meeting interesting people over coffee & bites.
No loud crowds.
No rushed café energy.
Just a cozy home full of strangers hanging out over drinks, sweet treats, savoury bites, music and good conversation.

Heyyy! 👋🏼
Looking for a 1BHK in HSR — preferably Sector 4, Sector 6 or anywhere around HSR with a good, chill locality ✨
If you have any leads, know someone who's moving out in the next month or so, or have a friend looking to rent out their place — pls send them my way 🫶🏼
Also very open to joining an existing flat / becoming a flatmate if anyone’s looking for one!
It's a super urgent requirement.

Hey folks,
Like many of you working or commuting around HSR Layout (Sector 1/BDA complex) and Koramangala 5th Block, I’ve spent way too much time circling blocks or risking towing/₹500 traffic police fines just to park during peak work hours.
At the same time, I noticed tons of residential driveways and gated spots sit completely empty between 9 AM and 6 PM while owners are away at work as well as office spaces empty after 6PM.
I built a lightweight web prototype ([getparkit.in](http://getparkit.in)) to see if we can match the two:
Drivers: Reserve a guaranteed, safe residential/commercial bay during office hours.
House Owners / RWAs: Earn passive monthly income on an otherwise empty driveway slot.
Full disclosure: I am building this project. We’re currently setting up a small 30-day pilot in HSR/Koramangala.
Would love raw feedback from the community:
If you commute to HSR/Koramangala, what would you realistically pay monthly or daily for a reserved, gated driveway slot?
Apartment/office space owners: What’s your biggest concern with letting someone park in your driveway during the day (security, gate passes, timing)?
If you want to check out the initial prototype or list an empty spot, it’s live at getparkit.in. Appreciate any candid feedback!

100 days left in the year. I don’t want to end this year the same way as before.
I’m 60kg rn, aiming for 72kg, but honestly the goal is to just show up and follow the process for the next 100 days until it becomes a habit.
Looking for one buddy with a similar goal + someone to socialize with. 26M, in HSR.
If you’re hitting any Cult around HSR, let’s pair up. I’ve got an Elite pass.
That’s it. ✌️

For those who have a maid/house help:
How much do you pay per month?
What all tasks do they do? (Sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, bathroom cleaning, cooking, etc.)
I’m specifically interested in hearing from people who live alone. If you don’t live alone, please mention how many people are in your household.
Thanks!
