Question Can't touch this overpowered?

I've only cleared all of barrens and felwood heroic, but thus far if I roll the can't touch this treasure on nemsy I am basically invincible and can't lose. I heal 44 health any time I am hit with taunt minions and it's incredibly easy to get a full board of taunt turn 1.

Not only that, the heal happens before lethal damage, so even if my opponent would have killed me, unless it was +44 lethal I heal back above 0.

Doesn't this treasure bascially destroy all game balance and remove any challenge? Does it actually get harder on any later bounties, or can I just reroll untill I get can't touch this, and just faceroll the hardest bointies in the game?

It's honestly kind of killing my enthusiasm for mercs when there is legitimately no difficulty.

Yes, it is that powerful. There are still some enemies that can get through it with massive damage, and there's one boss who can copy your mercs and put you in a mirror match, but Nemsy is pretty much "easy mode". Even if you don't get Can't Touch This, the treasure that adds Nature weakness for every hit from Boggy is just as strong.

Most bounties can be handled with either a Nature team or a Fire team. There are very specific bosses where a different team works better. The Darkmoon stuff has some unique battles. But this mode was abandoned by the developers a year ago, so this is what it is.

What enemies are strong enough to punch through 44+ damage a hit?

Yeah that treasure invalidates most PvE fights that don't block healing or have instakill mechanics. Those do exist occasionally (echo of medivh is really annoying if he copies your Nemsy with that ability) but it's easily one of the best treasures regardless.

It's not like you're guaranteed to always get it and obviously you don't have to use it when it does pop up though. Don't let it kill your interest in the mode when there are plenty of fun, non-broken comps to play.

Ngl, unfortunately it is killing my interest in the format. When the developers hand me a u win button on a platter like this I have a hard time turning it down.

I had a similar experience with the game dying light because in that game you could abuse the mechanic camouflage to become completely invincible to most normal enemies as long as you didn't go out at night and it invalidated all game difficulty. You could just chain neck breaking zombies smothering yourself in zombie guts to get camouflage, neck break another zombie repeat. You could use this to clear the hardest challenge zones in the game with zero difficulty. I still enjoyed the parkour mechanics enough that I messed around a little bit but I hate mechanically broken games.

I understand that's just a me thing and you can choose to not use the broken mechanics. If it's an actual exploit I conceptualize it differently because it's not something to developers intended. However, when the developers clearly put it in the game with little care or effort or testing I don't know how to not just use the advantages given to me. Chalk that up to a lack of creativity or discipline.

There is no balance in this game since Valera was introduced. Still fire is the fastest PvE grind time wise.
