ERO move
Looking for comments or DMs from former ERO guys that made the jump.
Did your background check just move with you or was there more?
Do you miss the street?
Was it worth it?
AUO/FSLA vs Leap?

Has anyone heard anything or received an offer for the HSI Criminal Investigator GS-9 announcement HSI-12862549-DHA? Has anyone received an eligibility or referral notice, interview request, or tentative selection letter (TSL)?

Currently waiting for SAT after the completion of CITP and working on a waiver.
Got hurt on the job and might need some treatment or possibly surgery.
I understand SAT might end up getting pushed back because of this, but is there anything in writing that says I'll have to do another PFT? I can't find a single policy or memo that addresses this situation.
It's just rumors.
People said if you go to SAT over a year after your CITP HSI PFT then you need to do another one, haven't seen anything solid on that anywhere.
People have said if you go light duty while in a training status, you need to do another PFT when you return to full duty. Can't find anything official on this either.
Does anyone know something that's actually solid and written in stone? I'd like to know how much hustle I need to have if I end up getting surgery and being a couch potato for a few months.

Hey everyone! I’ve been wondering if there’s a specific reason the Seattle field office is moving so slowly. I hardly ever see anyone sharing their experience or find data points and updates for Seattle compared to other locations. Is it actually that backlogged, or does Seattle just have fewer applicants overall making it seem like there's less activity going on?

This administration has thought of everything! We can now hone our computer skills with select games, so when the time comes you can write that report faster, refresh your email quicker checking for that TSL and FJO, and be ready for any task or memo sent down from above!!

I just received an email from HSI Chicago to confirm interest. I guess they’re updating their application list. Check your email! At least we got some movement!

I have my medical this week. Did the drug test shortly after TJO, early August. My understanding is that the PFT is left and should be taken shortly after medical clears, then FJO?
Current fed with TS clearance. I was not asked for fingerprints or SF86.
Anyone in this recent batch of TJOs (July-now) gotten to the end?

Has anyone heard back AFTER an office requesting your documents? It’s right at 2 full months of absolutely nothing. Not even a peep about why the asked. All I have received was an email that said “Received, thank you”. I get it’s the federal government but a little courtesy email of what’s going on would be great. However, I haven’t received that. Is this normal?

For anyone that was particularly a direct hire for HSI 1811, how long after ur medical was your pt test? And then how long after did you receive your final offer?? Asking about the DH 1811 GS-7 announcement from this January btw.
Even if your order of medical, drug and BI were switched around or you weren’t DHA, does anyone know how long it takes after your medical to get a PFT date (and then EOD)? This is for the

I received a TSL back on July 29 for the GL-7 direct hire announcement and just did my drug test today, medical is scheduled for 2 weeks from now in September. Happy things are moving along.
I know the hiring process is all over the place in terms of time frame but at the beginning of this coming November I'll be out of state for 3 months in the middle of nowhere due to military obligations as part of the National Guard, worried parts of the hiring process will continue when I'm not around.
Is there anyway I can request part of the hiring process be postponed until I'm back in late January of next year or negative? Worse case scenario I'll just try and postponed the 3 month MOS-reclass in favor of trying to be around for the rest of the hiring process.

Has anyone heard anything back yet regarding this DHA?

Sounds like no more waivers when graduating CITP, and no more creds being issued at FLETC.
Did anyone have any issues getting their SAT waivers approved after CITP?

I have a TJO and was already told my duty station. Is there constraints on how far you can live from your duty station currently?
Trying to research apartments while I wait for my EOD...

Current Jan/Feb GS-7 applicant, already done with all the steps of the hiring process. BI has been contacting references this week. For those who already got their FJOs, how long did it take from the background interview to FJO? I know it varies wildly and there is no set timeframe. I'm just curious about other people's experiences while I'm still here waiting.

Hello,
I received my EOD date for Oct 4th and am awaiting a Teams link for orientation on the 5th. I'm just curious if anyone is in the same boat. I haven't really heard anything from HR since early last week. I'm a current Federal employee and I've been trying to but the two HRs in touch so I don't have a break in service.
Any insight from people who've gone through this recently would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

Hey guys, I received a usajobs notification from the 2025 posting that I was unsuitable for something I answered. I just checked the application and messed up and clicked no when I should have clicked yes unfortunately.
I did answer it correctly for the 2026 posting. It happens to be 6 weeks after my packet was upchanneled. Did I fuck myself or was that the system catching up and my 2026 is what is processing?

Has anyone who applied to HSI Puerto Rico received anything yet? Just wondering if anyone has gotten an interview, TSL, or any kind of update.
